PETITION FOR.FAMILY EXEMPTION
To the Honorable,tne Judge of said Court:
The petition of Thelma Metzner respectfully represents:
1.That your petitioner is the widow of Ernest L.Metzner,Sr.
who died July 10,1971,a resident of California,Washington
county,pennsylvania.
2.That the decedent and your petitioner were married on
January 16,1937 and that your petitioner was a member of decedent's
household at the time of his death.
3.Decedent left no estate,other than the property to be
claimed for the exemption,and it is not comtemplated that your
petitioner or any of the heirs will apply for the probate of any
will or for letters of administration.
4.The decedents heirs at law are:your petitione~,Thelma
Metzner,widow1Ernest L.Metzner,Jr.,age 20 years;and
Eugene T.Metzner,age 18 years.These are the only heirs at law.
The two minors are the children of the decedent and tour petition
5.That petitioner claims the following personal property of
the decedent to the value of $1,500.00 as her exemption under
Section 211 of the Fiduciaries Act of 1949,as amended,to wit:

6.Annexed hereto is an appraisemnt of said property by

CWO qualified appaaisers who are familiar with the value of used
automobiles.This appraisemnt is made by James Losko who is
engaged in the Used Car business and also is an auto body repairma 1
his place of business is loaated in California Borough:and by
Earl Mathieson,whose place of busimess is in California Borough
and who is engaged in the business of auto body repair.
WHEREFORE,petitioner prays that the said appraisemant be
confirmed and that the said property be set apart to her as
aforesaid.

of Ernest L.Metzner,Sr.;late of the Borough of California,
washington County,pennsylvania.

personally appeared before me,the undersigned authority,
James Lasko and Earl Mathieson,who upon their oaths did say that ithey
they will well and trull',.and without prejudice or partiality,
value and appraise the property chosen by Thelma Metzner,deceden 's
widow as her exemption of $1,500.00 under Section 211 of the I
Fiduciaries Act of 1949,as amended,and will in all respects
perform their duty as appraisers to the best of their skill and
Judgment.
