(as is affirmed), possessed of divers goods and chattels, ·rights and credits, within the said County,

by reason whereof the power of granting· administration thereof doth belong .to me; I therefore, confiding
in your fidelity, do by .these presents gvant unto you these LETTERS OF ADMINISTRATION, here-
by committing unto you full power to administer the goods and chattels, rights and credits, which were
of said deceased within this Commonwealth, you having taken ·and subscribed the oath of office pre-
scribed by law; requiring you to well and truly administer the goods and chattels, rights and credits,

) PETITION TO WAIVE OR FIX ADDTTTONAL SECURITY
TO THE HONORABLE, THE JUDGES OF SAID COURT:

The petition of Terry E. Alexander, administrator
> of the estate of John E. Alexander, deceased, respectfully
represents:
1. John E. Alexander, last residing at Canton Township,
Washington County, Pennsylvania, died intestate on October 8, 1971.
2. Letters of administration were granted to your
petitioner on October 15, 1971, by the Register of Wills of
Washington County, Pennsylvania.
3. An inventory of the estate was filed by .your
administrator, showing the total value of decedent's property
as $4,500.00 for real estate and $295.57 as personal property,
with the said real estate which is the subject of this petition
included in the property value of· $4,500.00 as real estate.
4. Security has been entered by your petitioner
with the Register of Wills of Washington County in the sum of
$1~000.00 with U.S.F.G. as surety on the bond.
5. Decedent died seized of one piece of real estate,
a frame house, ~~tuate at 2391 Belmont Avenue, Canton Township,
Washington ~ounty, Pennsylvania, which was conveyed to John E.
Alexander and Ethel M. Alexander on July 7,. 1954, and recorded
in deed book volume 900, page 609. The said Ethel M. Alexander
died intestate on March· 4, 1966, vesting full ownership on the
property .to John E. Alexander. The said property is now being
occupied by .your administrator and by his brother Jeffrey S.
Alexander, also an heir of the said John E·. Alexander, deceased.

The property is described as follows:
"All that certain lot of ground situate in Canton
Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, being part of lot
no. 25 in the Finkel Heights Plan No. 1, which plan is recorded
in the Recorder's Office for said county and state in Plan Book
Volume· 5, page 170, and being more particularly bounded and
described as follows: .
BEGINNING at a point on the South side of Malvina
Street which point is 40 feet distant in a westerly direction,
measured along the South side of said street, the dividing line
between lots 24 &'25 is said plan; thence along the South side
of said Malvina Street in a westerly directiori· 45 feet 9 inches
to a point; thence· through lot no. 25 & by a line parallel to
the aforesaid dividing line a distance of 58 feet more or less
to the line of the northern side of the 16 foot alley; thence
along the northern side of said alley in an easterly direction,
46 feet more or less; thence through said lot in a northerly
direction and parallel with the aforesaid dividing line a distance
of 65 feet more or less to a point, the place of beginning."
6. Your petitioner has entered into an agreement of
sale of the aforesaid premises to Arthur M. Craig for the sum of
$1,200.00 free and clear of encumbrances, the entire sum of
which is to be paid at settlement on or before July 12, 1972.
7. There are no liens of record, mortgages, delinquent
taxes or judgments against the said premises.
8. The names and relationship of the parties in
interest are Terry E. Alexander, administrator, son of John E.
Alexander, deceased; the said Terry E. Alexander is 22 years of
age and is sui juris. The only other party in interest is
Jeffrey s. Alexander, a minor, who is also a son of the said John
E. Alexander, deceased, and who is the ward of Terry E. Alexander,
administrator, your petitioner. The said Terry E. Alexander has
been appointed as guardian of the said Jeffrey s~ Alexander, a
minor, by order of the Orphans' Court Division of the Court of
Common Pleas of Washington County, Pennsylvania.
WHEREFORE, your petitioner prays your Honorable Court
under Section 541 of the Fiduciaries Act of 1949 for a final
decree requiring the entry or waiver of security in such amounts
as the court may determine, upon the entry of which your petitione
shall have authority to receive the proceeds of sale of the premises
aforesaid.

If any tax due is paid within three (3) calendar months after the decedent's death. a five percent (5%) discount of
the tax paid is allowed.
