PETITION UNDER SMALL ESTATES ACT
TO THE HONORABLE,THE JUDGES OF SAID COURT:
The Petition of Effie M.Culley respectfully represents:

She is the widow of George G.Culley who died Intestate,
November 28,1970,age 71,in the Canonsburg Hospital.

That in addition to your Petitioner,said decedant
left as his sole and only heirs at law the following named
children,all of whom are of full age and sui juris:Jane A.
Makrush,Georgetta M.Romestan,Ted G.Culley,Newton M.Culley,
Dane R.Culley and Diane M.Stone.Attached hereto and made a
part hereof marked Exhibit HAtt is an Assignment Of Interests by
the aforementioned children assigning all rights and all interest
of their named.father,George G.Culley,Deceased,to their
mother,your Petitioner.
The only asset in the estate of George G.Culley,
Deceased,consisted of one hundred fifteen (115)shares of Co1um-
bia Gas Company stock represented bY,the following Certificates:
Certificate No.CN753532 for 100 shares,
Certificate No.~785558 for 15 shares,
The above shares @ $34.50,
a Total of $3,622.50

decedant,George G.Culley,which are as follows:

Under section No.2 of Act No.108,amending section
No.211 of the Fiduciaries Act of 1949,providing for a family
exemption in the amount of $1,500.00 to a surviving spouse,
your Petitioner was married to the decedant in 1928 and lived
with him as his wife until the day of his death and hereso
living at the time of his death and therefore claims the said
$1,500.00 on account of her family exemption.
The total of the decedants debts and family exemption
amounts to $3,803.75.This amount ~xceeds the assets in the

WHEREFORE,your Petitioner,in consideration of the
assi§¥ment ..theiranybalanceduethechLldrenofsaLddecedantto
mother,your Petitioner and in consideration of her having
paid the amounts due by the decedants estate as above outlined
and in consideration of the family allowance which leaves an
insolvency of $181 ..25,does therefore pray your Honorable Court
for an Order awarding her the 115 shares of Columbia Gas Company
stock which she desires to take and receive in kind.

G.Culley,Deceased,who died intestate November 28,1970,being
of full legal age and sui juris,do hereby assign,transfer,
release and set forth to our mother,Effie M0 Culley,of Midway,
Washington County,Pennsylvania,all our right,title and interes
in and to the estate of our said father,George Ge Culley,and
we do hereby authorize,empower and direct the Orphans'Court
Division of the Court of Common Pleas of Washington County,
Pennsylvania to award any and all interests that we may have in
the above-captioned estate to our mother,Effie Me Cu11ey~
