PETITION FOR SETTLEMENT OF
SMALL ESTATE
TO THE HONORABLE, P. V. MARINO, JUDGE OF SAID COURT:
The Petition of Rachel Jennette respectfully represents:
1. That the said William R. Jones, whose last
residence was the Pitt Hotel, McDonald, Washington County,
Pennsylvania, died January 23, 1971 in the John J. Kane Hospital;
at the time of his death Mr. Jones was aged 85.
2. That the decedent's wife, Ida Jones, died June 29,
1968.
3. Letters Testamentary are not comtemplated in this
estate, because of the assets hereinafter described; however,
decedent left a form of Will, the pertinent clause being,
"If my wife is deceased before me, then I bequeth
all of my earthly belongings to our dear friend,
Rachel Jennette of Highland Avenue, Oakdale,
Pennsylvania."
Your Petitioner is the Rachel Jennette mentioned in said Will.
4. Your Petitioner has paid funeral expenses in the
amount of $1,150.00, as shwon by attached receipt and has taken
care of all other bills of the decedent. She has, on her own
expense, ordered a tombstone, at a cost of $145.00, and will pay
for this stone from her own funds.
5. Your Petitioner has been advised by the John J.
Kane Hospital that their accounts show that there is an amount of

$609.00 payable to the estate of William R. Jones, the said
amount being an overage of pension funds over the cost of his
care in said hospital until his death. The said hospital is
' willing and anxious to dispose of said funds to persons properly
entitled thereto.
Your Petitioner, therefore, prays your Honorable Court,
pursuant to the Section 202 of the Fiduciary's Act of 1949, as
amended, to direct distribution of said funds of $609.00, now
in the hands of John J. Kane Hospital, to your Petitioner, as the
sole and only heir.
And she will ever pray, etc.
