The Petition of VIOLA KOVACICEK and IRENE FISHER

1. That they are the daughters of John Trevena,

Deceased, and reside in the City of Washington, Washington CountyJ.

2. That John Trevena, their father, died intestate on
December 13, 1970, at the Washington Hospital, leaving to .survive
him as his only heirs at law, his wife, Mae Trevena, Crumrine
Towers, Washington, Pennsylvania, and eight (8) children, whose;
names and addresses are as follows:

AND NOW, this ~ ::!_ day of March, 1971, upon consi dera .....
tion of the within Petition and it appearing that the gross
value of the Estate of the decedent does not exceed the sum of
Five Thousand ($5,000.00) Dollars and in pursuance of Section 202
of Acticle 2 of the Fiduciaries Act of 1949, as amended, the
Court does hereby make the following order:
1. That the Mellon National Bank and Trust Company,
Washing~on,. p epnsyl Vania 0ffiqe, pay 't!o Viola .Kovacicek and Irene
Fisher the--balance in the Savings Acco'lint No. 2lle03-9762-0l
standing in the name of John Trevena.
2. That Viola Kovacicek and Irene Fisher execute and de~
liver the Title Certificate for the 1962 Ford Falcon Automobile
to the purchaser thereof at a price of $50.00.
3. That the Petitioners pay the debts, expenses, Adminis ...
tration costs and the Inheritance Tax as set forth in the Petitiom.
4. That after the payment of all debts, expenses, Adminisl
tration costs and Inheritance Taxes in accordance with the State-
ment and Account attached to this Petition the Court does hereby
award the balance as follows:

MR. BANE: If the Court please, this is the time set in a noti:::e
sent to the heirs of John Trevena, advising them that on this day
at 3:00 o'clock P.M., that I would present a Petition to settle the
estate of John Trevena under the terms of the Small Estates Act.
Notices were sent to all of the heirs by certified mail and we have
the return receipts which are attached to the Petition showing that
they all received them with the exception of the widow who is
represented by Stephen Marriner.and who talked to me less than
15 minutes ago,advising me that he and his clients were satisfied
with the Petition and that they would not appear in Court here today.
On Friday, I received a bill from Dr. Grant Hess in the amount o
$78.20, I believe.

under Medicare. In my conversation with ~r. Marriner a few
minutes ago he agreed that this bill should be paid and we would
ask that that be added to the account which we have among the
papers there and would reduce the amount from nineteen hundred
and some dollars to a lesser amount, less $78.00. The only estat~
that Mr. Trevena had at the time of his death was a 1962 Ford
Falcon automobile. We contacted the Ford agency here and found
that a car of that vintage is not in the so-called Blue Book, and
that they had no idea as to the value of it. But we received a bid c ~

~c50J~ 00 for the car and we have sold it to a Mr. Connors, subject
to the approval.of the Court. The only ot~er asset in the estate is
the balance in the savings account in the Mellon National Bank and
Trust Company. We are asking that this estate be divided after
the payment of the bills set forth in the account, one third to the
widow, Mary Trevena, and one twelfth each to the eight children
that surwiiwa..d.:!Mr. Trevena. We know of no other outstanding
bills.
Mr. Trevena was quite ill for some time prior
to his death. And the daughters tell me that they know of no other
bills. They had thought that possibly Medicare would take care of
all of:.Eln~ Hess but we see that it didn't. So I don't believe that thel-re
are any other outstanding accounts.
N THE COURT: Mr. Bane, are all the, children of age and sui
juris ?

THE COURT: Very well. For purposes of the record, we will
now inquire, is there anyone else in Court at this time interested
