NOW, THEREFORE, I, Russell Marino , Register as aforesaid, do
grant these LETTERS TESTAMENTARY, unto the said
Helen Robinson and Genevieve Lantz
committing unto Them the administration of all and singular the goods and
chattels, rights and credits, which were of said deceased, and requiring Them
to exhibit a true and perfect inventory thereof into the Register's Office, at Washington, within ninety
days from the date hereof, and to r.ender a just and true account of said administration at the expiration
of six months from the date hereof, and to regard and comply with the provisions of the laws of this
Commonwealth relating to inheritance taxes.

LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
I, MAYME C. HARTMAN, of California Borough, Washington
Cou~ty, Pennsylvania, Post Office address R. D. #1, Coal Center,
Pennsylvania, do he~eby make this, my Last Will and Testament,
hereby revoking in full any and all wills by me heretofore made:
FIRST: I direct my personal· representative her~inafter
named to pay my debts and. funeral expenses.
, SECOND: I give and bequeath any automobile that I may
jown at the time of my death to my sister, HELEN ROBINSON,
THIRD: All the rest, residue and remainder of my
estate, of whatsoever type or nature, real, personal or mixed,
and wheresoever situate, I give, devise and· bequeath to my sisters,
HELEN ROBINSON, and GENEVIEVE LANTZ, in trust, however, for the
following purposes and upon the following terms and conditions:
~ 1. To keep and maintain my house and real estate inl
California Borough, Washington County, Pennsylvania, as a home for
my brother; EMMET,T HARTl'viAN, for and during the term of his natural II
life, or for so long a period as he chases to reside in the said
home, the said trustees to pay all of the expenses of maintaining j
said house and real estate, including the payment of ~11 taxes,
insurance, maintainence and repair costs.
2. To use or pay so much of the net income of the
said trust, as in the sole discretion of the trustees they shall 1
deem sufficient, for the care and maintenance of the said EW.VIETT II
HA~Tl'viAN, including food, clothing and medical expenses, and further!
to use or pay so much of the principal of the said trust, as in
the sole discretion of the trustees they shall deem sufficient
for the care and maintenance of the said EMMETT HARTMAN.
3. Uponthe death of my brot·her, EMMETT HARTMAN,
the said trust shall terminate, and the trustees shall thereupon
convert all of my assets, both personal and real, "into cash, and
distribute all of the said cash, including any and all incone and
principal that may have accumulated in the said trust duri'ng the
lifetime of EMMETT HARTMAN .. to my four sisters, namely HELEN
ROBINSON, GENEVIEVE LANTZ, HILDA BLACK, and GRACE CARLSON, in
equal shares, to be theirs solely and absolutely.
FOURTH: The trustees shall have the following power
and authority.:
a. To accept in kind from the Executricies of my
will and of my investments or property, real, personal, or mixed;
b. To invest and reinvest the principal of the
trust or any part thereof in any kind of property, real, personal,
or mixed, including, without limitation, mortgages or mortgage
•.c ··~;~<.·· participations, comnidn" trust funds, common stocks, preferred stocks,
bonds, notes, an~.other securities, regardless of whether the sam~
lare legal investments· for trust funds as now or hereafter defined
lby law, whether. by statutory enactment, judicial decision, or

c. To manage and operate all real estate ·at any
time held in this trust; and upon the death of EMMETT HARTMAN,
to seil an~ convey the same upon such conditions as the trustees
shall deem advisable and reasonable;
d. To prosecute, defend, compromise, arbitrate,
ot otherwise adjust or settle claims in favor of or against the
trustee or the trust estate;
e. To hold the trust in such manner that the
principal and income therefrom shall not be subject to assignment,
.alienation, pledge, attachment, or claims of EMMETT HARTMAN.
FIFTH: I name and constitute my sister·s, HELEN ROBINSON
and GENEVIEVE LANTZ as co-executrices of this, my Last Wili and
Testament.

TO THE HONORABLE, THE JUDGES OF THE SAID COURT:
The Petition of GENEVIEVE LANTZ and HELEN ROBINSON respectfully
represents:
l. That they are the trustees under the Last Will and Testa-
ment of Mayme C. Hartman, a/k/a Mayme Hartman, deceased, late of California
Borough, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
2. That the said Mayme c. Hartman died testate on March 10,
1971, and her Last Will and Testament was duly probated in the Register of
Wills Office of Washington County, Pennsylvania, in Will Book _____ , at
Page __ _ A copy of said Will is attached hereto.
3. That the Estate was duly administered by Genevieve Lantz
and Helen Robinson, Executrices under the.Last Will and Testament of Mayme C.
Hartman, deceased. The FinaLi Adjudication and Decree was handed down on
March 13, 1972. A copy of said Adjudication and Decree is attached hereto.
4. That among the assets awarded to Helen Robinson and
Genevieve Lantz, testamentary trustees in trust under the terms of the Will for
Emmett Hartman, life tenant, was realty in Coal Center Borough, Washington
County, Pennsylvania, appraised at the value of $2,000.00, A description of
said real estate is set forth in the Adjudication and Decree .

7. That your co-trustees believe and therefore aver that this
is the fair market value of the said premises. and is more than could be
obtained at a public or private sale thereof,
8 •. That all of, the heirs, namely Genevieve Lantz, Helen
Robinson, Hilda Black, and Grace Carlson, have agreed that the said Helen
Robinson may purchase the said premises for the said sum of $2,000.00.
9. That, under the Statute Law of the Commonwealth of Pennsyl-
vania, it is necessary that Court approval be obtained in order for a co-
trustee to purchase the said realty, and further for authorization for the
other .trustee. to execute a deed therefor.
WHEREFORE, your Petitioners respectfully pray your Honorable Court
that your Honorable Court order and decree that the said realty shall be
conveyed to Helen Robinson for and at the sum of $2 1000.00 1 and further order

LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
I, MAYME C, HARTMAN, of California Borough, Washington
County, Pennsylvania, Post Office address R. D. #1, Coal Center,
Pennsylvania, do hereby make this, my Last Will and Testament,
hereby revoking ·in full any and all wills by me heretofore mad~:
FIRST: I direct my personal representative hereinafter
named to pay my debts and funeral expenses.
SECOND: I give and bequeath any automobile that I may
own at tbe time of my death to my sister, HELEN ROBINSON,
THIRD: All the rest, residue and remainder of my
estate, of whatsoever type or nature, real, personal or mixed,

and wheresoever situate, I give, devise and bequeath to my sisters,
HEL.EN ROBINSON, 'and GENEVIEVE LANTZ, in trust, however, for the
following purposes and upon the following terms and conditions:
1. To keep and rna inta in my house and real estate -.in
California Borough, Washington County, Pennsylvania, as a home for
my b-r·other, EMMETT HARTMAN, for and during the term of his· natural
life, or for so long a period asShe choses to reside in the said
home, the said trustees to pay all of the expenses of maintaining
said house and real estate, including the payment of all taxes,
insurance, maintainence and repair costs.
2. To use or pay so much of the net income of the
said trust, as in the sole discretion of the trustees they shall
deem sufficient, for the care and maintenance of the said EMMETT
HARTMAN, including food, clothing and medical e'xpenses, and further
to use or pay so much of the principal of the said trust, as in
the sole discretion of the trustees they shall deem sufficient
for the care and maintenance of the said EMMETT HARTMAN.
3. Upon the death of my b-rother, E·M·METT HARTMKN,
the said trust shall terminate, a·nd the trustees-shall thereupon
convert all of my assets, both personal and real, into cash, and
distribute all of the said cash, including any and all income and
principal that may have accumulated in the said trust during the
lifetime of EMMETT HARTMAN, to my four sisters, namely HELEN
ROBINSON, GENEVIEVE LANTZ, HILDA BLACK, and GRACE CARLSON, in
equal shares, to be theirs solely and absolutely.
FOURTH: The trustees shall have the following power
and authority:
a, To accept in kind from the Executricies of my
will ana.' of, my investments or property, real, personal, or mixed;
b. To invest and reinvest the principal of the
trust or any part thereof in any kind of property, real, personal,
or mixed, including, without limitation, mortgages or mortgage
participations, common trust funds, common stocks, preferred stocks,
bonds, notes, and other securities, regardless of whether the same
are legal investments for trust funds as now or hereafter defined
by law, whether by statutory enactment, judicial decision, or
otherwise;

c. To manage and operate all real estate at any
time held in this trust; and• upon the death of EMMETT HARTMAN,'
to sell and conv~y ~he same upon such conditions as ~he trustees l shall deem advisable and reasonable_;

or otherwise adjust or settle claims in favor of or against the
trustee or the trust estate;
e. To hold-the trust in such manner that the
principal and income therefrom shall not be subject to assignment,
alienation, pledge, attachment, or claims of EMMETT HARTMAN.
FIFTH: I name and constitute my sisters, HELEN ROBINSON
and GENEVIEVE LANTZ as co-executrices of this, my Last Will and

trustees. Mayme Hartman died and her estate. was audited
and the assets were awarded to these two testamentary trustees.
The life tenant, Emmett Hartman, died and we now have the
final audit of the .trusteeship. There are no problems. There have
been advance distributions of cash, which are set out. There is

PETITION FOR APPROVAL OF
TRUSTEES'-FEES AND ATTORNEYS 1· FEES
TO THE HONORABLE c _THE. JUDGE OF THE SAID. COURT:
The Petition of GENEVIEVE LANTZ and HELEN ROBINSON
respectfully represents.:
1. That they are the trustees under the Last Will
and Testament of Mayme C. Hartman, a/k/a Mayme Hartman, deceased,
late of Cali.fornia Borough, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
2. That the said Mayme C. Hartman died testate on
March 10 1 1971, and her Last Will and Testament was duly probated
in the Register of Wills Office of Washington County, Pennsylvania
in Will Book 111, at Page 418.
3. That the Estate was duly administered by :
Genevieve Lantz and Helen Robinson, Executrices under the Last Wil
and Testament of Mayme C. Hartman, deceased. The final Adjudicaticn
and Decree was handed down on March 13, 1972. A copy of said
Adjudi.cation and Decree is attached hereto.
4. Th.at Emmett Hartman 1 life tenant under the Wil ,
was an invalLd, and unable to tak..e care of himself. That the
testamentary trus.tees took care of Emmett Hartman from March 10 1
1971, until hls death on December 27, 1972. They personally main-
tained his home, cleaning and repairing the same, cooked his meals
art_d generally provided for hi.s needs:, so that he could continue to
live a normal life.

5. That the trustees further kept accounts of all
moneys. expended for his care and maintenance, as s.et forth in the
Account filed by the trustees, including the purchases of all
groceri.es, laundry expenses, utility bills, taxes, and medical·
costs.
6. That the trustees further, upon the death of
the. life tenant, proceeded to convert the assets into cash, in orde
for distribution to be made, and tO-close out .the testamentary
trust.
7. That the trustees are of the opinion that a
reasonable fee for their servi.ces in performing these duties is
$250.00.
8. That John W. Edwards , Jr. , Attorney for the
testamentary trustees, has performed the following services:
Cl} preparation of Inventory and Account; (21 preparation of peti-
ti.on to sell real es'tate; (31 selling of stock; (41 preparation
of Final Account; .(_5}. giving notice of filing Account and Audit
hearing; C61 presenting qf audi.t petiti.on to your Honorable Court;

9. That Johri W. Edwards, .Jr., Attorney, is of the
opinion that the sum of $250:.0.0 is a fai.r and reasonable fee for
the services performed.
10 .· That the total trustees r and attorneys •:-fees
are approximately 2.3% of the trust assets.
11. That all of the heirs, namely Genevi.eve Lantz.,
Helen Robi.nson, Kilda Black, and Grace Carlson, have agreed that
the fees are fairand reasona.ble-. The joinders of Hilda Black and

interest day prior to decedent's death in the case of savings banks, and to the date of decedent's death

face value, it sets forth briefly the reasons for such depreciation as to each item; all moneys payable
to the estate from life insurance policles carried by decedent; all annuity and endowment contracts the
proceeds of which were payable upon the death of the decedent; and all the corporate stocks and dividends
due thereon and unpaid as of the date of death, bonds and accrued interest thereon to the date of dece-
dent's death and other investment securities owned by the decedent at the time of death, with the market
value thereof at such time.

In the case of securities of close or family corporations, the values reported are as far as
possible substantiated by financial statements of the corporations, showing the assets and liabilities
thereof as of the date of death. The schedule also sets forth the interest of decedent at the time of
death in any co-partnership or business, and in support of the value of such interest there is annexed to
said schedule, financial statements showing the assets and liabilities of said co-partnership or business.
A copy of the co-partnership agreement, (if oral, a statement setting forth the nature of the agreement)
together with a statement setting forth the character of the business, its location, and such other facts
pertaining to the business as may be pertinent to a fair and just appraisal of the decedent's interest
therein must be submitted. It should also set forth in itemized form, together with the fair market value
thereof, any other property owned or bequeathed by the decedent at the time of death.
The Schedule C attached hereto and made part hereof sets forth a true answer to each inquiry
contained therein and in the case of transfers ofproperty, real or personal, within two years of decedent's
death, in contemplation of decedent's death, or intended to take effect in possession or enjoyment at or
after death, said schedule sets forth the nature and value 'of such property, to whom transferred; the
relationship of the transferees to the decedent, the proportionate share received by each transferee and
all other facts of a pertinent nature regarding said transfers. In the case of transfers intended to
take effect in possession or enjoyment at or after death, there is also attached to the schedule a co~y
of the deed, trust agreement or other instrument creating the trust. Thert~ is also set forth in said
schedule a list of all property, real and personal, with its value, which passes at decedent's death by
virtue of the exercise by decedent, either individually, or jointly with another, or any power of appoint-
ment vested in decedent, either individually or jointly, by the will, deed, or other instrument of another,
with a copy of the instrument creating such power attached to the schedule.
That Schedule D attached hereto and made part hereof sets forth the names and addresses of all
persons beneficially interested in this estate at the time of decedent's death, the nature of their res-
pective interests, their relationship, if any, to the decedent, together with the ages at the time of
decedent's death of all minors, annuitants and beneficiaries for life under decedent's Will. It also
contains a statement showing which of the beneficiaries named in the decedent's will, if any, died prior
to decedent, the dates of their death, their issue, andthe relationship of such issue to the beneficiary.
That Schedule E attached hereto .and made a part hereof sets forth all property, real and per-
sonal, owned by the decedent jointly with another or others, including intangible, standing in the name
of the decedent and others, plus the date and place of record of instruments effecting the vestiture of
real estate and the date of acquisition of personalty, plus the name, address and relationship, if any,
of co-owners to the decedent.
That Schedule F attached hereto and made a part hereof sets forth fully and in detail ail debts
and deductions claimed for and on behalf of this decedent's estate, including funeral expenses paid;
family exemption, where applicable; costs of administration of this estate; counsel fees and fudiciary's
commissions paid or to be paid; cost expended for burial trusts, tombstones or gravemarkers, and reli-
gious services, in consequence of the death of the decedent; debts and claims owing and tmpaid at time of
death; taxes accrued. chargeable for period prior to decedent's death (except those allowed under Section
651 of the Inheritance and Estate Tax Act); together with a statement of collateral pledged for obliga-
tions, if any. It is agreed that the fiduciary will present proof of said claimed obligations upon re-
quest, that if the amount actually paid in settlement of any fee, commission or debt is less than the
estimated amount claiming and allowed, that the same will be reported to the Register of Wills, and that
the amount of tax assessed can be reassessed in accordance therewith.
That the totals of the appropriate columns in Schedules "A", "B", "C", "E", and "F" as directed therein,
have been carried forward and properly registered in the Summary.

the property of said Decedent is made subject pursuant to the provisions of the Act of June 20, 1919, P.L. 521,
as amended and the Act of June 15, 1961, P.L. 373, as amended. This is also in accordance with the provisions
of the Act of April 9, 1929, P.L. 343.
This Consent to Transfer the herein described property operates only in reference to the estate of the

hereby revoking in full any and a.ll wills by me heretofore made:

SECOND: I give and bequeath any automobile that I may
at the time of my death to my sister, HELEN ROBINSON.
THIRD: All the rest, residue and remainder of my
I estate, of whatsoever type or nature, real, personal or mixed,

and wheresoever situate, I give, dev.ise and bequeath to my sisters, I

HELEN ROBINSON, and GENEVIEVE LANTZ, in trust, however, for the
1 following purposes and upon the following terms and conditions:

1 1. To keep and maintain my house and real estate ~in
lllcalifornia .Borough,, Washington County, Pennsylvania, as a home for
1 my brother, EMMETT HARTMAN, for and during the term of his natural
life, or for so long a period asShe choses to reside in the said
home, the said trustees to pay all of the expenses of maintaining
1 said house and real estatei including the payment of all taxes,
I. insurance, maintainence and repair costs.

2. To Use or pay so much of the net income of the
said trust, as in the sole discretion of the trustees they shall
deem sufficient, for the care and maintenance of the said EMiYIETT
HARTMAN, including food, clothing and medical expenses, and further
to use or pay so much of the principal of the said trust, as in
the sole discretion of the trustees they shall deem sufficient
for the care and maintenance of the said EMMETT HARTMAN.
I 3. Upon the death of my brother, EMMETT HARTM.AN,
! the said trust shall terminate, and the trustees shall thereupon
convert all of my assets, both personal and real, into cash, and
distribute all of the said cash, including any and all income and
principal that may have accumulated in the said trust during the
lifetime of EMMETT HARTMAN, to my four sisters, IJ,amely HELEN ~ROBINSON,_ GENEVIEVE LANTZ; HILDA BLACK, and GRACE CARLSON, in
llequal shares, to be theirs solely a~d absolutely.
I FOURTH: The trustees shall have the following power·
