Before me,the undersigned authority,personally appeared
Mrs.Josephine Fiem,a resident of Cokeburg,Washington County,
Pennsylvania,who being first duly sworn according to law,deposes and says
that she intermarried with one John Fiem in Washington County on May 7,
1920;that your affiant had been previously married to one Pete Gergino,
who became divorced from your affiant in the year 1919,the said divorce
having been secured in Washington County,Pennsylvania,and the said
divorce being an absolute divorce,a vinculo matrimonii;that your affiant
then intermarried with said John Fiem on May 7,1920;that your affiant
procured a marriage license from the Register of Wills and Clerk of the
Orphans'Court of Washington County,Pennsylvania,and in pursuance of
said license were united in marriage by John F.Carmichael,Justice of the
Peace,in Washington,Pennsylvania,on said date;that in securing the
marriage license in the said Clerk's Office,the name of the applicant John
Fiem,was improperly recorded as John Freeman,due to the fact that John
Fiem could not read or write and due to the fact that he spoke a foreign
language;that your affiant as heretofore set forth and John Fiem were thus
married and the marriage certificate recorded in said Office of the Clerk of
the Orphans I Court of Washington County"Pennsylvania,numbered 30017,

Series A,carries the name of John Freeman rather than John Fiem;that
your affiant desires the said name to be corrected on the records of
Washington County and hence makes this affidavit.

ORDER CORRECTING MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE
AND NOW ~January £,1971,the applicant having made a
proper Affidavit conserning the error of the marriage record in Washingto n
County,it is now ordered that the marriage record be corrected to show
the proper names as stated in said Affidavit attached herBto,and that the
Clerk of the OrphansI Court mark the proper Docket showing this correction,
in red ink,so that the record will show the marriage on May 7,1920,of
John Fiem and Josephine Z.Gergino,rather than the names shown on the
original certificate;that a corrected certificate be issued to the said
Josephine Z.Gergino (her husband,the said John Fiem having died on
September 14,1950).
