that you are required, after you are appointed guardian by the ~our ,
to keep an account,a strict accounting of all the monies thatyolJ
receive and all the monies that you ~nd for the berefit of this
alleged incompete.nt.Now it would be rather simple to keep an
accounting on one side of the ledger or book of the monies you rec eilve
because there are only about three sources there and you get the
same ,am ouqt each month. So there it is.That would be the same
,...
each month. But on tp.e other side of the book where you make you r
expenditures,y ill would have to keep a definite accounting of all
your expenditures so thatlateron anyone that wishes to inspect
thos,e books,might be able',to'do so.
If I would buy a loaf of bread I would have to write that down?
Well, technically, let's .a~swer it this way:that would be included
in it.But you don It 'need to put every item of pur chas e that you makl .
You go to a grocery store and you might have 25 items of purchase
_fou do"n'rt need to put the names of the 25 items down. But when you
come out,if you have spent $25.10 you'd better keep anaccount
of the $25.10 thatyou spend. So that's what we mean by keeping
books, keeping an accounting. You have to know where your money
goes.
