A At that ,time he suffered principally from a kidney infection. But
I have a note at that time that there were evidences of brain damagE.
What is his age?

A His age now is 73 years.
Q With whom does he mak'e his home?
A I am unable to state. His wife died recently,And up to the time of
her death he made his home with her at 130 Kenric Avenue in

Doctor, the condition of his arteries in the brain,is that due to his

His condition would be arteriosclerosis?
Yes.
And in a person of that age with arteriosclerosis, what would the
prognos is gene rally be?
It's progressively advancing with progressive det erio'ration in his
mental state.
So that would there be any prospect at all for a comple~~r;ec::overy
in this event?
There is no prospect of any improvement in his c'ondition.
So that I take it that you feel that the advancing art:~!l;'ioscler@/B'is
will eventually cause his demise.
Yes.
And it would be a question Ire rely of how long that would be.
That is correct.

He knows I am someone that he knows but he's not sure who.He thiPks
my wife is his wife.He keeps calling her Ann.And.he.roams aroun~
at night, something fantastic.I wanted to ask the doctor if we couldn't

the commode, working on the back of the commode and Ehe water is
running. And 'he'll get up in the morning and he can't dress him self.
And he came up the other day with seven pieces of garmen~on his
upper portion of the body and he might not have anything on the bott ~m
portion.
Why is Mr ..Miller presently residing with you?.......'
While his wife was in the Mercy Hospital Just prior to her death
he stayed wi.th my mother and dad in Fisher Heights there near.
Monongahela because that was the only sister that Mrs.Miller had
nearby. And they tried to take care of him but their house is very
small. They have only got about three or four rooms and bath. And
they are both up in age themselves, both being over 70 and have
a .daughter that is som ewhat ret arded, and they couldn't take care
of him and they asked me if I could take care of him for,a week or
two to relieve them. But once we got him into ourhouse I knew they.
couldn't get him back because they were quite distraught at the
thought of taking him back. They couldn't take care of him.
Q If the Court agrees or decides to permit you to becom e the guardiar
