PETITION FOR FAMILY EXEMPTION
FROM REAL ESTATE
TO THE HONORABLE JUDGE OF SAID COURT:
The petition of Charles W.Hoffman,respectfully
represents":•
1.That your petition is the husband of Dorothy
T.Hoffman who died July 18,1970,a resident of South Franklin
Township,Washington County,Pennsylvania.
2.That Decedent and Petitioner were married
at Wolfdale (Canton Township,Washington County,Pennsylvania)by
a Justice of the Peace on September 6,1952 and petitioner ,,,,as a
member of Decedent's household at the time of her death.
3.That Decedent died intestate and the names
and relationship of those interested as next of kin in her estate
are as follows:Your petitioner,Charles W.Hoffman,surviving
husband,and Margaret Jane White,daughter,both of whom are
sui juris.
4.That no Letters of Administration have been
raised on the Estate of the Decedent as the only asset of the
Decedent's estate is a certain lot of ground situate in South
Franklin Township,Washington County,Pennsylvania,more
particularly described in Exhibit A attached hereto.
5.That petitioner claims said real estate of
the decedent to the value of $1,500.00 as his exemption under
:
Section 211 of the Fiduciaries Act of 1949.
6.That there are no liens or encumbrances against
said real estate.
7.That attached hereto and made a part of this
petition is the consent of Margaret Jane White and joinder in this
petition,and official Certificate of Assessment.
WHEREFORE,petitioner prays YOur Honorable Court to
appoint two appraisers for the purpose,of appraising said property.

and described as follows::
BEGINNING at a nail in the center line of State
Route No.221 (being Legislative Route No.62124),corner common
to Lot "B"heretofore conveyed to Deward R.Knotts,Jr.et ux.r
thence along the line of Lot "B"South 45°24'West 175 feet to
an iron piper thence by other lands of William D.Sprowls et ux.
North 42°12'West 132.84 feet to an iron pipe in the dividing
line between Lots "c"and "D"as shown in said Plan;thence along
said dividing line,North 49°37~East 175 feet to a nail in the
center line of said Public Roadr thence in the center line of

Sprowls Plan of Lots NO.2,which is unrecorded,said
lot being more particularly bounded and described as
follows:
BEGINNING at a nail in the center line of State
