PETITION FOR LEAVE TO JOIN IN THE SALE OF REAL ESTATE
TO THE HONORABLE,THE JUDGES OF SAID COURT:
The petition of Pittsburgh National Bank respectfully
represents:
1.By Decree tdaAjed:January 26,1962,filed at No.328
of 1961,A.A.,your petitioner was awarded as Testamenta~y
Trustee,inter alia,the ~ndivided one-fifth (1/5th)interest
in the following described real estate:
THOSE certain lots of ground situate in the
Second Ward of the City of Washington,Washington
County,Pennsylvania,fronting sixty (60)feet
on the south side of West Chestnut Street and
extending back therefrom of even width a distance
of two hundred fifty (250)feet,more or less,to
Pine Alley,upon which is erected a brick commercial
building known and designated as 56-62 West Chestnut
Street.
2.That the trust is created under Paragraph 3 of the
Will of Harry J.Price,which contains no specific power of sale
1andwhich,in Paragraph 3 (e)thereof provides "it is my request
that my undivided three-fifteenths (3/15ths)interest in the
Hallam and Hall property at 56-62 West Chestnut Street,Washington,
Pennsylvania,and my stock in The American Telephone and Telegraph
Company and West Pen~Power Company be retained in kind as assets
of the trust."A copy of the Will is attached hereto,and made
a part hereof and marked Exhibit "A".

3.That said real estate is included in an area of
the City of Washington scheduled for acquisition,demolition
and redevelopment by the Urban Redevelopment Authority of
Washington County.
4.That by reason of the increasing threat of
condemnation your petitioner and the other owners of said real
estate have found it increasingly difficult to maintain
satisfactory tenant occupancy of said premises and the marginal
tenancy has resulted in a cancellation of the fire insurance
on the buildings on said premises.
5.That Redevelopment Authority of the County of
Washington has invited the owners of said real estate to offer
said real estate to the Redevelopment Authority of the County
of Washington for the sum of Eighty-two Thousand and no/IOO
($82,000.00)Dollars.
6.That the owners of the remaining undivided four~fifth
(4/5ths)interest in said real estate believe this to be a full
and fair price for the same as evidenced by their execution of
the form "Offer of Sale of Land ll as provided by Redevelopment
A~thority of the County of Washington,copies of which are
hereto attached.
7.That there is attached hereto and made a part hereof
the Affidavit of two persons familiar with the value of real
estate stating that $16,400.00 is a full and fair price for
the undivided one-fifth (1/5th)interest of the Trust Estate
in said real estate and more than could be realized at public
sale.
WHEREFOR~,your petitioner prays that an Order by made
authorizing and empowering your petitioner,Testamentary Trustee
as aforesaid,to join with the other owners of the real estate

hereinabove described in a conveyance of the same to Redevelopmen
Authority of the County of Washington for and in consideration
of the sum of $16,400.00 for the interest of the trust estate
