OF GUARDIAN FOR ONE MINOR
TO THE HONORABLE,THE PRESIDENT JUDGE OF SAID COURT:
The Petition of Ron~ld G.Sten,Guardian of Peggy Ann Sten,
minor,:respectful1y represents:
1.That Ronald G.Sten,was appointed Guardian of the
Estates of Keith O.~ten and Peggy Ann Sten,minors,on August
11,1970,by the Orphans'Court of Washington County,Pennsy1vani ,
and filed Surety Bond in the amount of $7,000.00,as directed by
the Court.
2.That a proper Inventory was filed at the above number
and term showing the assets in said Guardian's hands in October,
1970,was $6,568.51,for both of the minors,each being entyt1ed
to one-half or $3,284.26.
3.That Keith O.Sten,became of age on .11/2/1973,and
said Guardian has filed an account which has been audited,at the
above number and term,and distribution of his,::f,ull one-half (1/2
share has been made to Keith O.Sten,and a proper receipt filed.
4.That the amount of assets still remaining in your
Petitioners hands and belonging to the last minor,Peggy Ann Sten
is approximately $3,700.00;including interest.
WHEREFORE,your Petitioner,showing as aforesaid,respect-
fully requests your Honorable Court to discharge him and his
Bondsman,United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company,Baltimore,
Maryland,from all liability in the Estate of Keith O.Sten,and
to Grant permission to reduce the present $7,000.00·Surety Bond
to Surety Bond to the amount of $4,000.00,to protect the last
minor,Peggy Ann Sten,now 17 years of age.

PETITION FOR APPOINTMENT OF GUARDIAN
TO THE HONORABLE,TIlE JUDGE OF SAID COURT:
The Petition of Keith O.Sten,a minor,past 17 years of age,
and Peggy Ann Sten,a minor,past 13 years of age,by her natural
Guardian and Mother,Mildred H.Parkinson,respectfully represents:
1.Keith O.Sten was born November 2,1952,in Washington
County,Pennsylvania,and is now past 17 years of age,and single.
2.Peggy Ann Sten was born November 29,1956,Washington'
County,Penna.,and is now past 13 years of age.
3.That the natural parents of said minors are Oscar G.
Sten and Mildred H.Parkinson,formerly Stene Oscar G.Sten died
November 26,1968,a resident of Washington County,Penna.,having
been divorced,prior to his death from Mildred H.Sten,now inter-
married with Odel Parkinson.
4.That until the death of their father,Oscar G.Sten,
on November 26,1968,said minors lived with their father in
Washington County,Penna.,and since his death,with their mother
in Cleveland,Ohio,Philadelphia,Penna.,and in Washington,Pa.,
where they now reside.
5.That the Will of Oscar G.Sten bequeathed all his
estate to his four children in equal fourths and an account was
filed in his estate at Number 63-68-1541,and the Audit in said
Estate took place in September,1969,but no Decree of Distributio~
has been made by the Orphans'Court of Washington County,Penna.
6.That said natural parents,Oscar G.Sten and his wife,
had two other children,Ronald G.Sten and Robert B.Sten,both

now of age,said Robert B.Sten still being in military service,
but Ronald G.Sten has been discharged from military service and
7.That in addition to his four children,Oscar G.Sten,
deceased,had a sister,Anna Shadel,of Washington,Pa.,who sur-
vived him,and she is Guardian of said two minors by contract and
appointment made by Oscar G.Sten,during his lifetime,with
Northwestern Mutual Insurance Company,and has received and is
holding the sum of approximately $1600.00 for each of them,but is

Guardian for this one purpose only.
8.That in the Estate of Oscar G.Sten,there will be
between $2275.00 and $2300.00 due each of said minors and there is
due each of said minors from Aetna Insurance Company,as benefic-
iaries of their father,the sum of $750.00.
9.That said two minors have no Guardian of their estates,
have no assets or estates of their own,except as set forth heteinj
other than their share in their father's estate and the Aetna
Insurance proceeds',previously mentioned.
ld.That Ronald G.Sten,brother of said two minors,-~I ,
Iwas24 years O~d on April 8,1970,is married and lives in
Clevel~nd,,:,OhJ:Q"as aforesaid,and has been discharged from
military service.He is of good reputation,financially respon-
sible and willing to serve as the Property Guardian of said two
minors,if appointed,and his appointment is agreeable to their
mother,Mildred H.Parkinson.
11.That both of said minors desire that Ronald G.Sten
be appointed as their Property Guardian as evidenced by their
joining in this Petition.
12.That Ronald G.Sten,the suggested Guardian,has no

interest in this proceeding other than to promote the best interests
of said minors,and is not Executor,Administrator or Trustee of
any estate in which the said minors have an interest,nor Surety
for any such fiduciary.His Consent to act as Property Guardian,
if appoin~ed,is attached hereto.
13'.That said minors,individually,and through their
mother and natural guardian,therefore pray:'your Honorable Court
to appoint said Ronald G.Sten,as Guardian of their estates,fix
the amount of Surety Bond to be filed by said Guardian before
receiving any assets for said minors,and receipting for same.
