PETITION FOR PERMISSION TO RECEIVE
ACCRUALS FROM EMPLOYER OF DECEDENT
To the Honorable P.V.Marino:
1.Your petitioner,Helen T.Carlton,is an adult
individual,who resides at R.D.#1,Bulger,Washington County,
Pennsylvania.
2.That your petitioner is the widow of George E.
Carlton,who died intestate on May 29,1970,a resident of
R.D.#1,Bulger,Washington County,Pennsylvania.
3.That at the ·time of his death the decedent was an
employee of Weirton Steel,Weirton,West Virginia,and at the
time of his death had net wages accrued in the amount of $420.89,
and certain U.S.Savings Bonds,Series E,which were valued at
$739.47 on the date of his death.
4.That the assets set forth in the preceeding para-
graph which decedent owned individually,all of his other assets
being held jointly with his wife,your petitioner.
5.That your petitioner has been advised that before
the assets hereinabove described can be paid over to her by
Weirton Steel,that she must furnish it with Court approval of
her eligibility to receive the same.

That your petitioner and the decedent were married
on June 7,1933 and have resided together as husband and wife
since that date,and on the date of the decedent's death your
petitioner was a part of decedent's household.
7.That your petitioner and the decedent were the
parents of the following children,and notice of the filing of thi
petition has been given to them.
(a)Bruce T.Carlton (over 21 years of age)
Midway,pennsylvania
(b)Hope Tacy (over 21 years of age)
Midway,Pennsylvania
(c)Lynn Cook (over 21 years of age)
Sunny Hill Farm
Imperial,Pennsylvania
(d)Gwen Carlton (14 years of age)

8.That if Letters were issued in this estate your
petitioner would be entitled to a Family Exemption,and it is
respectfully submitted that the sum to be received from Weirton
Steel Company is less than that amount to which she would other-
wise be entitled to under the law.
9.That your petitioner has paid,or has caused to be
paid all expenses arising out of the death of her husband.
WHEREFORE your petitioner prays your Honorable Gourt to
enter a decree permitting her as surv~ving widow to receive from
Weirton Steel Company the accrued wages and U.S.Savings Bonds
which were the property of her late husband,George E.Carlton,
now deceased.

Rosenberg &Bloom,attorneys for the petitioner,it is hereby
ORDERED,ADJUDGED and DECREED that Weirton Steel Company of
Weirton;West Virginia,employer of George E.Carlton,now decease ,
be and is hereby authorized to pay over to Helen T.Carlton accrue
wages due the decedent in the amount of $420.89 and certain U.S.
Savings Bonds,Series E registered in the name of the decedent
and valued at the time of his death in the amount of $739.47.
This decree is made for the purpose of permitting payment by
Weirton Steel Company to the surviving widow of the decedent,who
is entitled by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to
receive the assets hereinabove described and as set forth in the
annexed petition.A certified copy of this decree shall constitut
sufficient authority for Weirton Steel Company to make delivery
of these assets to Helen T.Carlton,upon presentation of the same
to Weirton Steel Company.
