Home My WebLink AboutOC1970-0448 - ESTATE OF JORDAN~).--.•-"...~l ;}' ,i LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT I,HARRY J.JORDAN,of Chartiers Township,Washington Coun ty,Pennsylvania,do hereby malw,publish and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament hereby revoldng and mal-~ing void any will or wills by me at anytime heretofore made. 1.I direct my executors hereinafter named to pay all my just debts and funeral expenses as soon as convenient after my decease. 2.I direct that my housekeeper,Alice Morris,shall be permitted to remain in.my house in Chartiers Township, Was'hington County,Pennsylvania,fora period of six (6)months following my death without paymen,t rent,taxes,insurance premiums or repai.rs,provided"however,that she shall pax all utilities used during her period of such residence. 3,.Subjeot to the foregoing paragraph relating to possession for six (6)months,I give and devise my house and the lot upon which it is situate and the lot immediately south- east thereof (excluding the lots bought from Powell and Cummins) in Chartiers Township,Washington County,Pennsylvania,to roy son,Thomas E.Jordan,upon condition however that he shall pay the taxes,insurance premiums and costs of repair during the above stipulated period of free.residence by Alice Morris and that he shall pay to my estate the sum of Fifteen Thousand and no/lOO ($15,000.00)Dollars within one··(1)year after the date of my de~th.In the event that my son,Thomas E.Jordan,shall fail to meet t'he above conditions or in the event he shall advise my executors that he does not desire to accept said devise,then said house arid lot ~hal1 become a part of the residue of my estate. .,.J. ------------------------------------ .- 4.1 give and bequeath the sum of Ten Thousand and no/lOa ($10,000.•00)Dollars from the proceeds of life insurance payable to my estate,to Pittsburgh National Bank,in trust, however,for the following uses and purposes: (a)To invest and reinvest the same in such investments as my said trustee may deem proper without restriction to "legal investments"and to pay from the income.:therefror,l with' such principal as may be necessary the sum of One Hundred and no/lOa ($100.00)Dollars per·month to my housekeeper,Alice Morris,for and during the term of her natural life.
