The Petition of RAY WALLACE WILSON,Administrator
D.B.N.C.T.A.of the above-captioned estate,respectfully re-
presents:
1.That the said Rebecca Redd Harris died testate on
March 29,1970,a resident of 445 East Hallam Avenue,l"Jashington,
Washington County,Pennsylvania.
2.That Letters of Administration D.B.N.C.T.A.on her
estate were granted to your Petitioner,RAY WALLACE WILSON,by
the Register of Wills of Washington County on May 24,1971,and
security in the amount of Five Hundred ($500.00)Dollars with
Transamerica Insurance Company has been posted.
3.The said real estate is described as follows:
ALL that certain lot of ground situate in the
Sixth Ward,Washington,Pennsylvania,being Eastern
one-half of Lot No.72 in Linn's Extension to Wash-
ington Borough,fronting on East Hallam Avenue Twenty
(20)feet and extending back One Hundred Forty (140)
feet to Lot No.85.Upon which is erected a two
story frame dwelling,and being known and designated
as House No.73 1/2 (New Number 445),and being the
house and one half of the loot purchased by the firs·t
party at Sheriff Sale as the property of AdelIa D.
Barr,formerly AdelIa D.Patterson,as shown by
Sheriff's Deed dated April 17,1924 and recorded in
the Recorder's Office of Washington County,Pennsyl-
vania,in Deed Book 520,Page 155.
That the said Rebecca Jane Redd married William
Harris in Washington,Pennsylvania in the year 1942.
At the present time the said premises are occupied and
the current assessment is as follows:

5.That the parties who have an interest in the said
Estate are as follows:
(a)Ray Wallace Wilson,Cousin,of 53 Bernard Avenue,
Delaware,Ohio,is the only known heir at this time of Flora Redd
Brandy.
(b)The heirs of William Harris,the husband of the
Decedent,are not known at the present time.
6.That the said real estate has been sold at a private
sale on or about October 5,1979 by Joseph DeMaria of Dial Realty
to Marjorie Hairston and Peter Dixon,Jr.for the sum of $3,900.00.
That the said $3,900.00 at present time has been placed in a
Trustee Account of Bloom,Bloom &Associates,attorneys for your
Petitioner.
7.That there will be due a commission to the realtors,
Dial Realty,namely,$400.00 that was agreed upon at the time that
the said realtors were hried by your Petitioner.
8.That the said real estate has been sold as it is the
best price that your Petitioner could ob~in for,the said property
and the said property has been up for sale ever since the death
of the decedent and this is the first bona fide offer that your
Petitioner has ever received for the purchase of the said propert~.
9.That at the time of the death of the decedent,there
was no cash assets in said estate and at present there is a bal-
ance in the hands of your Petitioner's attorneys in a Trustee
Account in the sum of $3,605.50 from rents collected after comm-
issions,taxes,insurance and other incidental expenses incurred
by your Petitioner since the death of the decedent.
10.That the said William Harris,husband,during his
lifetime filed with your Petitioner an Election to Take Against
the Will.That the last known attorney who represented the
interest of William Harris is Clyde Tempest of Monongahela,
Pennsylvania,who are being served with a copy of this Petition.
11.That your Petitioner states that since giving notice
to Clyde Tempest and since this estate has not been settled or any
o 0'
account filed since the death of the decedent,a hearing on this
Petition will not be required in the opinion of your Petitioner
and his attorneys.
12.There is also unpaid Pennsylvania Transfer Inheri-
tance Tax that was due at the time of the death of the decedent
and a large sum of interest has accumulated.
13.That your Petitioner further avers that all debts
of the estate have been paid except the commissions to your
Petitioner and the attorneys for your Petitioner in the settle-
ment of .this estate and the recording costs of filing an account.
14.That your Petitioner is at present time investi-
gating to determine who the legal heirs are that would be entitled
to said monies since the death of Flora Redd Brandy,the daughter,
and the death of William Harris,the decedent's husband.
WHEREFORE,your Petitioner prays your Honorable Court to
enter a Decree for the filing of Additional Bond in such an
amount as the Court may deem proper and fit under the facts set
forth in this Petition.

We have recently contacted you or your legal representative advising that the above
estate was in a delinquent status.As of this date,the matter has not been resolved.
Section 701 of the Inheritance and Estate Tax Act of 1961 requires the personal
representative of an estate and/or a transferee to make an inheritance tax return.In addition,
Section 711 states that inheritance tax is due at the date of the decedent's death and shall
become delinquent at the expiration of nine (9)months.
Section 791 of this Act provides that any person who wilfully fails to file a return
required under the provisions of this Act shall be personally liable for a penalty of twenty-five
percent (25%)of the tax determined to be due or $1,000.00,whichever is less.This penalty
is in addition to any other liabilities imposed by the Act.
Our review shows that this estate remains open because:
____An inheritance tax return has not been filed;
X Tax in the principal sum of_.~_~~~?.plus six percent (6%)
annual interest from 12/29771 remains due and unpaid.
Accordingly,please be advised that unless the return is filed or the tax due,
including interest,is paid in full within fifteen days from the date of this letter,proceedings
will be instituted in the Court of Common Pleas by this Department to effect compliance with
the law.
