One of these legatees predeceased the decedent and was unrr.arried and had no issue.Her estate,Miss Frances Downey's estate has been settled by Your HLJnorable Court.So there are five remaindero,en. These are all--most of these are up in age.And I sent out the 2 notices and on one particular one,got a return letter that the gentle an was deceased.That is John A.Taylor.However,I later wrote to hi daughter and tgot a letter back from her dated August 26,stating tha her father is very much alive.She visited with him on August 15-16 at the nursing home,is now 95 yec.rs of age and a bit infirm.So these are all alive.I have the Federal Estate Tax Return with their !i!:~letter enclosing their type of receipt.We have paid it all out. oJ.. fl~The only problem that I can foresee is concerning the devise oilJ. Z:>of the real estate to a very dear friend and a young lady that took ca e "'z~of her for many years,took care of the decedent for many years.T e 0( ~ decedent was in need of further cash,monthly cash.so in 1966---h r Will had been made out in '65---but in '66 she entered into an agreement for the purchase of this land by this young lady,Mrs.Romitti,and her daughter and son-in-law also entered into this;and the idea was vi~to give the decedent a monthly income.So we fixed it by the tables..a:o~that the prospective buyer should pay $1,000 down and it turned out,..a:g I think $84.84 a month for 20 years.u oJ0(u THE COURT:Is that a different person from the one to whom i ii:...o was devised? MR.RALSTON:It was an undivided one-half to Mrs.Gladys Romitti,but the other one,the other undivided one-half was to go to the daughter and son-in-law of Mrs.homitti.They did that just in order to assure that they would have enough income to do it.But she left the entire remainder then to Mrs.Romitti.Mrs.Romitti is here in €ourt.I was looking it over at the last minute and I am sure that she will heartily agree that if you will make a Decree in fa'or of herself and the daughter and son-in-law,that I can prepare the necessary papers in order to get this done if you are so minded.I have a copy of the description.I don't have one of the original copies of the Article of Agreement but the description is here with the terms on it.==~>...)- Q ~THE COURT: \Ir..
