TO THE HONORABLE ,P.V.MARINO,PRES !DEN'!'JUDGE OF SAID COURT:
The Petition of Elvira E.Van Gorder respectfully

represents:
1.That Jame~E.Van Gorder,resident of Smith
Township,adjacent to the Borough of Midaay,Washlngton County,
Pennsylvania,died on December 31,1969 in the Mercy Hos'pital,
located at Pittsburgh,Penns:vlvania.
2.The decedent died'intestate ·and·no Letters of..
Administration have been taken out on his estate•.
3.Your Petitioner,Elvira E.Van Gorder,is the
.widow of the decedent and'has 'lived with him and been a part of'
his household since their marriage on August 12,1936.
4.The decedent was also survived by four children,
three of whom are adults 'and not residing at bome,as follows:

James E.Van Gorder,Jr.,Frederick C.Van Gorder and Charles
Lester Van Gorder,and on~minor daughter,Vanessa May Van Gorder
age 6,residing with your Petitioner,'her mother.
5.The only property which the decedent left in his
iownnameatthetimeofhisdeathconsistedofone Chevrolet,1963

being a rebate from the last payment on the above-captioned
motor vehicle.
6.Your Petitioner has paid the funeral expenses and

all other debts of the decedent.
7.Your Petitioner has been advised that she is
entitled,as surviving spouse,to the family exemption,as
provided under Section 211 of the Fiduciary's Act of April 18,
1949,P.L.512,as amended.
WHEREFORE your Petitioner prays that sbe may be awardee
the said 1963 Chevrolet Station Wagon,Manufacturers Number
41235F152858,Title Number C15115620,and the said check of the
General lWtors Acceptan~e Corporation of Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania."
