As evidenced by the bank's report (RCC-43)issued to this Bureau,the actual balance was ,$5,439.25,therefore,the decedent's one-half (l/2)interest is $2,719.62,rather than $1,168.11 as originally appraised. Accordingly,you are hereby authorized to correct your records and we will adjust our Bureau file to reflect the proper balance in said account.This effects a change in the total Gross Assets from $9,168.11 to $10,719.62 and the Clear Value from $6,547.06 to $8,098.57. Since our writing we have located an RCC-134 appraise- ment issued by the former Chief Appraiser,Washington County, William R.Chaney,on January 30,1970,for Joint Savings Ac- count No.10714,deposited in the Charleroi Federal Savings and Loan Association in the sum of $5,439.25,with the dece- dent's one-ha~f (1/2)interest appraised at $2,719.63,upon which tax was ~paid in the sum of $155.02 on February 27,1970.
