Dear Judge Simmons:
Elections have been forwarded to all heirs in the above estate
and will be forwarded in bulk to you as soon as received,demon-
strating the election to take the real estate ~n~k~nd.
The $700.00 charge for legal services we deem to be a
fair and ~easonable sum in view of the extremely difficult nature
of settle~ent of this estate,the number of years and the'
collection procedures we were required to undertake in order to
correctly collect and distribute the out-of-state assets that
consisted of personal property jointly held.
Tr-ere'were at least six bank accounts in different
institutions in the State of Florida which we were required to
collect aLd distribute.In view of the fact that there wasn't
any cash in the estate,we had to pro-rate the expenses of the
estate among the variety of heirs owing the bank accounts so that
all the debts could be paid.
Actually,the full amount of the $700.00 which is charged
is currently made up of monies which have been withheld from those
independently-held bank accounts already distributed and from which
we will take our fee,thus making the charge in the estate purely
one for tax reduction.
