The Petition of Martha B. Hamschin and Michael Charles .
Hamschin respectfully represent:
I. Your petitioner, Martha. B. Hamschin, of 582 West
McMurray Road,·· North Strabane Township, Washington County, ·Penn ..
sylvania is the widow of Michael Hamschin, deceased, and th;
mother and natural guardian of Michael Charles Hamschin, age 17,
Susan Marie Hamschin, age 14, and Frank Steven Hamschin, age II.
Your petitioner, Michael Charles Hamschin, . 1s over 2.
the age of 14 years, having been born on February 14, 1952, and
resides with h~mother, Martha B. Hamschin, and his younger
sister and brother at 582 West McMurray Road, North Strabane
Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
3. Michael Hamschin, late of 582 West McMurray Road,
North Strabane T~nship, Washington 'County, f)ennsylvania, husband
of Martha B. Hamschin, and father of Michaei.Charles, Susan Marie
and Frank Steven Hamschin, a conductor for the Penn Central
Railroad, died on October 30, 1969 at~e Sewickl;y Valley Hospi-
tal, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
4. At the time of his death, the I ife of Michael

Hamschin, was insured by the Travelers Insurance Company,
Chatham Center Office Building, Pittsburgh, ~ennsylvania, under
the terms of a group policy GA~2JOOO, 130-RR:l-1887, in the
total amount of $6,000.00, with his three.minor children being
equal beneficiaries, that is, the sum of $2,000.00 is due and
payable to Michael Charles Hamschin, the sum of $2,000.00 to
Susan Marie Hamschin, and the sum of $2,000.00 to Frank Steven
Hamschin.
. 5. The estate of each m1nor child therefore consists
of the following:

Frank Steven Hamschin $2,000.00, proceeds

6. Michael Charles Hamschin, Susan Marie Hamschin,
and Frank Steven Hamschin, have no other estate or interest in
any estate other than the foregoing. Your petitioner, Martha B.
Hamschin, has been informed by the Travelers Insurance Company

that the aforesaid amount of $2,000.00 due each of the m1nor
children cannot be paid as a lump sum without appropriate decree
of your Honorable Court.
7. Yar petitioners propose to deposit 1n separate
accounts the aforesaid sum of $2,000.00 for each of the aforesaid
minors in a federal savings and loan association during minority
or unti I further Order of Court.
WHEREFORE, your petitioners pray that the estate of

each minor in-the amount of $2,000.00 for each minor, be paid
and delivered to Martha B. Hamschin, their mother and natural
guardian without the appointment of a guardian or the entry of
any security, the said funds to be deposited in three separate
accounts in the name of Martha B. Hamschin, as guardian, in the

upon consideration of the within Petition, Martha B. Hamschin,
natural guardian and mother of MichaeiCharles Hamschin, Susan
Marie Hamschin, and Frank Steven Hamschin, is authorized to
receive payment of the sum of $2,000.00 on behalf of Michael
Charles Hamschin, the' sum of $2,000.00 on behalf of Susan Marie
Hamschin, and the sum of $2,000.00 onbehalf of Frank Steven
Hamschin, from the Travelers Insurance Company~ The natural
guardian, Martha B. Hamschin, is directed to depos"it-· the funds
belonging to the minors, referred to in the Petition, in separate
accounts in her nan e as guardian in the Mt. Lebanon FedSlll
Savings and Loan Association, office at 126 South Washington
Road, Peters Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, whose
records shal l.be marked to show that no withdrawal shall be made
therefrom without Order of Court, and evidence thereof shal I be
exhibited promptly to the Court.
In the event of no withdrawals prior to the minors'
attainment of their majorities, Michael Charies Hamschin, on
February 14, 1973, Susan Marie Hamschin on December 22, 1976 and
Frank Steven Hamschin on June 16, 1979, the Mt. lebanon Federal
Savings and loan Association may pay over the funds upon the
joint order of Martha B. Hamschin, natural guardian, and the late
