TO: THE HONORABLE, THE JUDGES OF ·sAID COURT:
·The petition of Louise Coffey respectfully represents:
l. That your petitioner is the niece of Arnold Christian, Decedent.
'
2. That decedent, Arnold Christian, died intestate and unmarried, on
August 10, 1969, a resident of Canonsburg, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
3. That decedent's entire estate at the time of his death consisted of the
following assets:
PERSONALTY:
a. Savings account No. 1645 with Mellon National Bank
and Trust Company, Canonsburg, Pa. office, in

name of Arnold Christian 1, 442. 28
b. 13 U.S. Savings Bonds -$25.00 denominations 26-l. 00
TOTAL ASSETS $ 1' 70 3. 28
4. That the said Arnold Christian, Deceased, was survived by the following
heirs-at-law, all of whom are sui juris:

Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
Louise Coffey

Margate, Florida, 33063
Brother
· Niece
(Daughter of deceased brother of Arnold Christian,. Deceased).

5. All ·of the creditors of decedent have been paid in full with the
exception of the following:

6 .. That the aforementioned U.S. Savings Bonds in the total value of $261. 00
have been presented to the Federal Reserve Bank or Branch at Jacksonville, Florida,
for payment toward funeral expenses, and the only remaining asset for distribution is
the savings account with Mellon National Bank and Trust Company, Canonsburg, Pa.
office.
7. That this petition for settlement is made pursuant to the provisions of
Section 20 2 of the Fiduciaries Act of April 18, 1949, P. L. 512, as amended.
WHEREFORE, petitioner prays that the Court direct distribution of the
said savings account No. 1645 with Mellon National Bank and Trust Company, by said
institution, as follows:
a. John P. Liekar, Esq.
Costs advanced
Attorney's commission
b. Jennings Funeral Home

DECREE OF DISTRIBUTION

AND NOW, this Lday of October, 1969, upon consideration of
the petition presented by Louise Coffey, distribution of the Savings Account No.
1645 in the name of Arnold Christian, with Mellon National Bank and Trust Company,
Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, office, is hereby ordered and decreed to be made as
follows:
a. To: John P. Liekar, Esq. , for attorney's fee and
costs $ 110.00
b. To: Jennings Funeral Home, 3904 W. Commercial
Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33309, in
part payment of funeral expenses 1,332.28
And the said Mellon National Bank and Trust Company, Canonsburg,
Pennsylvania, office is authorized and dire~ted to effect the distribution of said account
as set forth hereinabove; said distribution to be rm.'de without the grant of any letters in
the Estate of Arnold Christian, Deceased, or further notice, and that this Decree shall
be sufficient warrant for so doing, and that, upon making such payments in distribution,
Mellon National Bank and Trust Company shall be released and discharged of and from
any further liability and accounting to any one, for or on account of the same.
