PETITION FOR FAMILY EXEMPTION
1968
TO THE HONORABLE P. V. MARINO, PRESIDENT JUDGE OF SAID COURT:
The petition of Margaret Am.on respectfully represents:

That she is the widow of Mathias Amon who died intestate on
November 20, 1967, a resident of Washington County, Pennsylvania, leaving to
survive hio as his heir, your petitioner.

That the decedent and your petitioner were married on October 23,
1945, and your petitioner was a member of the decedent's household at the
time of his death.

That no letters have been granted on the decedent's estate.

That tne only asset in the estate is a parcel of real estate
si~uate in Clarion County of which Mathias Amon was one-third (1/3) owner.
The description of said real estate is as folrows:
ALL that certain lot or parcel of land situate in Farmington
Township, Clarion County, Pennsylvania, bounded and described
as follows:
BEGINNING at a stake on line of la~ds of John F. Tingley,
said point being the northeast corner of the parcel hereby
conveyed; thence in a southerly direction along line of lands
of Mathias Amon, et al for a distance of fifty (50) feet to a
stake; thence in a westerly direction for a distance of sixty
(60) feet to a stake; thence in a northwesterly direction for
a distance of seventy-four (74) feet to a stake; thence in an
easterly direction along line of lands of John F. Tingley for
a distance of one hundred sixteen (116) feet to the place of
beginning.
EXCEPTING AND RESERVING unto the Grantors, their heirs,
executors, administrators and assigns, all the minerals, oil
and gas, in and under the above described parcel of land.
BEING the same parcel of land which was conveyed to
Mathias Amon, Harry C. Stahl and James s. Dasta, by deed of
John F. Tingley and Martha L. Tingley, his wife, dated
December 9, 1960, and recorded in the Recorder's Office of
Clarion County, Pennsylvania in Deed Book Vol. 176, page 27.

That the co-owners of said real estate have agreed to pay unto
your.petitioner the sum of Seven Hundred ($700.00) Dollars for the interest
of Mathias Amon in said real estate.

There were no children born to this marriage and there are no
other heirs, and your petitioner desires to have said real estate set aside
to her as her widowts exemption, under the Fiduciary Act, as amended, 20 P. S.
320.211.

the facts set forth in the foregoing Petition for Family Exemption are true

AND NOW, TO WIT, this rlJ_ day of March, 1968, upon consideration
of the foregoing petition and it appearing that there were no other heirs
other than the petitioner, and that the petitioner is willing to accept the
value set forth in the petition and the said value is less than the family
exemption to which she is entitled, it is hereby ORDERED, ADJUDGED and DECREED
that the said real estate situate in Clarion County, Pennsylvania, described i
aforesaid petition is hereby valued at Seven Hundred ($700.00) Dollars as the
confirmed appraisement thereof and the one-thi~d (l/3) interest in the real
estate described as follows, owned by Mathias Amon at the time of his death,
is hereby set apart and awarded to his widow, Ma~garet Amon:

AND NOW, TO WIT, this ~Jl day of March, 1968, upon consideration
of the foregoing petition the Inheritance Tax Division of Washington County,
Pennsylvania, is hereby directed to have the Inheritance Tax Office or
Division situate in Clarion County, Pennsylvania, to appraise the real estate
described in said petition and file a report with this Court on or before the
? <:A ./S--day of --'--~,....-;--+-7=-=::r--, 1968, appraising the said real estate.
No notice of this whall for the reas?n that the petitioner is the
sole heir of the said estate and there are no other interested parties •
