FURR ) PETITION FOR SETTLEMENT OF A SMALL ESTATE UNDER § 202 OF THE FIDUCIARIES ACT OF 1949, AS AMENDED TO THE HONORABLE, P. J. MARINO, PRESIDENT JUDGE: • The petition of KATHLEEN HAMILTON respectfully represents: -1- The decedent, Mabel D. Furr, was a resident of 244 Burton Avenue, Washington, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and died on September 15, 1969. -2- That the decedent was not married and your petitioner is the sole surviving relative.and heir. -3- All persons.entitled to share in this·Estate are sui juris. -4- The only property of the Estate of Mabel D. Furr is as follows: (1) A check from Washington Hospital in the amount of $112.35. (2) A check from the Washington Hospital in the ~ount of $53.86. . ~ (3) vacation pay due from Washington Hospital in the approximate amount of $112.00. -5- That the decedent at the time of her death owed the following: (1) Ambulance and Chair Service -$51.00 (2) Bessie Jones ( rent) -$35.00 (3) Utilities (approximately) -$15.00 (4) Your petitioner, who has assumed and paid the burial expenses in the amount of $1,000.00. WHEREFORE, your petitioner respectfully requests this Honorable Court to enter an order authorizing your petitioner to cash the two checks presently in her possession and the third check in the approximate amount of $112.00 due from the Washington Hospital so that she may pay the aforesaid credito=s and retain as reimbursement for her expenditure for the funeral expenses in the amount remaining. FURR ) D E C R E E AND NOW, this ~ day of 1969, upon consideration of the and pursuant to the provisions of Section 202 of the Fiduciaries Act of 19•9, asamended, it is directed that Kathleen Hamilton is authorized to endorse and cash the two checks from the Washington Hospital now in her possession in the amounts ·of $112.35 and $53.86. She is further authorized to cash the vacation check. in the approximate amount of $112.00 when it is received from the Washington Hospital. She is further directed to pay to Ambulance Chair Service the amount of $51.00; to Bessie Jones the amount of $35.00; and the utility companies approximately $15.00. Any balance remaining may be credited to her for the payment of the expense of burial.
