OF SMALL. ESTATE
TO THE HONORABLE P. V. MARINO, PRESIDENT JUDGE OF SAID COURT:
The Petition of Emma Gillespie respectfully represents:
1 •. That AUGUST DHANS of Mt. Pleasant Township, R. D.
#4, McDonald, Washington County, Pennsylvania died on July 13,
1969 at 9:25 p. m. in the Washington County Home at the age of
67.
2. That your Petitioner, Emma Gillespie, resides at
222 Valley Street, McDonald Borough, Washington County,
Pennsylvania and is a sister of said decedent, AUGUST DHANS; also
surviving is his mother, JULIA DHANS, who is now incapacitated
in the Western Restoration Hospital (Geriatrics) and four
brothers as follows: HARRY DHANS, CHARll...ES DHANS and EARL DHANS
of Mt. Pleasant Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania and
WILLIAM DHANS of Ottowa, Illinois.
3. That the decedent, AUGUST DHANS, died intestate,
unmarried and without issue, and it is not contemplated that
Letters of Administration will be taken out on his estate.
4. That the only property of the decedent at the. time
of his death was a bank account in the Pittsburgh National Bank,
McDonald Office, in the amount of $1,415.63 and the lump sum
settlement in the amount of $250.00 due from Social Security.

5. That, to-date, no disbursements have been made,
but claims have been presented by the following persons in the
following amounts:

6. Since the amount of the assets of the decedent is
larger than the total amount of the claims, the balance of said
assets should be awarded to the decedent's mother, JULIA DHANS.
WHEREFORE, your Petitioner prays the Court to direct
distribution in accordance with the above schedule and to order
the Pittsburgh National Bank, McDonald Office, to make payment
of the balance in said institution in the amount of $1,435.63 to
ym.1r Petitioner for the purpose of paying the above captioned
bills.

obtain receipts from each.

1969, upon consideration of the Petition re filed by
Joseph C. Ralston, Attorney for Petitioner, the funds in the
Pittsburgh National Bank, McDonald Office, in the amount of
$1,435.63 and the lump sum settlement due under the Social
Security administration in the amount of $250.00, is hereby
ordered paid by the respective institutions to EMMA GILLESPIE,
Petitioner herein, who is hereby authorized to receive, make
payment to the creditors as set forth in the within Petition,
and·to file proper receipts from said creditaDS in this Petition;'
it is further ordered that the balance remaining after the -
payment to the creditors,as set forth in the within Petition,
should be awarded to the decedent's mother, JULIA DHANS.
