It is noted that on May 30, 1969 John S. Baldwin took the life
of his wife, Helen Baldwin, and then took his own life. All of the property in
the estate belonged prior to their deathsto John S. Baldwin and Helen Baldwin
as tenants by the entireties. Under the provisions of the Slayer's Act of
August 5, 1941, P. L. 816, Section 5, 20 P.S. 3445 it is believed that all of
the property owned by the tenantsby the entireties became the property of the
estate of Helen Baldwin.

I, Helen Baldwin, do hereby make th:& my last will and
testament, hereby revoking, all other 't\lills heretofore made:
1. All of my just debts and funeral expenses shall be
paid as soon as convenient after my decease.
2. All the rest and residue of my estate I devise and
bequeath to my husband, John s. Bald't-Jin, if he is living and if
he is living, I appoint him e~c.ecutor of this will.
3. If my husband. has predeceased me, I devise the

entire residue of my estate to my daughter, Ruth Charlton Pettit,
for the balance of her natural life. She·shall manage said
estate and use it as she sees fit and I herewith extend to he~
. the pmver to consume said estate in any manner she de~ms fit,
including the privilege of selling any real estate for such price
and upon such terms and conditions as to' her may seem wise and
the p6't-7er to make, execute and deliver ~~cuments of title for
any of my property, real or personal, the same as I could do if

4. At the death of my daughter; Ruth Charlton Pettit,
any balance of my estate. still remaining I devise and bequeath in

AGREEMENT OF DEVISEES AND LEGATEES TO AWARD
OF PROCEEDS OF ESTATE TO LIFE TENANT
We, the undersigned, being all of the legatees and
devisees.named in the will of Helen Baldwin of record in the office
of the Register of Wills of Washington County, Pennsylvania,
in Will Book 108, at page 167, being all sui juris, having in mind
the provisions of paragraph 3 of the said will stating that the
entire residue of the estate is devised and bequeathed to Ruth
Charlton Pettit, for life, with power to consume the estate in
any manner she sees fit, and power to manage the estate and use
it as she sees fit, do hereby jointly request the Orphans' Court
Division of the Court of Common Pleas of Washington County,
Pennsylvania, to award the entire balance in the estate to Ruth
Charlton Pettit pursuant to the provisions of the said paragraph
3. This document is not to be construed as an exercise by Ruth
Charlton Pettit and her power of consumption but as a recognition
by the undersigned of her right set forth in the said paragraph
3 to "manage said estate".

at the time of death, whether in decedent's immediate possession, standing to decedent's credit in banks
of deposit, savings banks, trust companies, or other institutions, whether individually, or in trust for
any other person or persons giving also separately the accrued interest thereon, if any, down to the last
interest day prior to decedent's death in the case of savings banks, and to the date of decedent's death
in all other cases; all bonds, postal savings, treasury certificates or notes and other evidence of in-
debtedness of the United States to the decedent; all obligations, whether by statute or agreement they
are designated as tax free, of the United States, or any state, or political subdivision thereof, or of
any ~oreign country, which are owned at the time of death; all wearing apparel, jewelry, silverware, pic-
tures, books, works of art, household furniture, horses, carriages, automobiles, boats, and any and all

dent's death and other investment securities owned by the decedent at the time of death, with the market

In the case of securities of close or family corporations, the values reported are as far as
possible substantiated by financial statements of the corporations, showing the assets and liabilities
t~ereof as of the·date of death. The schedule also sets forth the interest of decedent at the time of
death in any co-partnership or-business, and in support of the value of such interest there is annexed to
said schedule, financial statements showing the assets and liabilities of said co-partnership or business.
A copy of the co-partnership agreement, (if oral, a statement setting forth the nature of the agreement)
together with a statement setting forth the character of the business, its location, and such other facts
pertaining to the business as may be pertinent to a fair and just appraisal of the decedent's interest
therein must be submitted, It should also set forth in itemized form, together with the fair market value
thereof, any other property owned or bequeathed by the decedent at the time of death,
