PETITION FOR SETTLEMENT OF SMALL ESTATE
TO T-IE JUDGES OF THE SAID COURT:
The petition of JOHN KOSTOFF,Administrator of the Estate of Joseph
Podanie,Deceased,respectfully represents:

That the decedent,JOSEPH PODANIE,died intestate on June 24,1968,
a resident of the Borough of Roscoe,Washington County,Pennsylvania.

That Letters of Administration were applied for and granted on May
15,1969,by the Register of Wills of Washington County,Pennsylvania.

That the only heirs at law of the decedent are John Podanie,decedent"s
father,and Margaret Podanie,decedent's mother,and the sole asset in the
estate is the sum of $1500.00 received as a settlement of the wrongful death
action filed at No.59 May Term,1969,A.D.in the Court of Common Pleas of
Washington County,Pennsylvania,Civil Division.

That your petitioner alleges that decedent's mother and father paid
the funeral bill,which was in the amount of $1499.07,from their personal
funes,and inasmuch as there are no other debts or assets in said estate,your
peti~ioner requests your Honorable Court to direct distribution of said funds
to ~ohn Podanie and Margaret Podanie,his wife,as restitution and repayment
for the advancement of said funeral bill in accordance with the Act of March
10,1959,P.L.1450,Section 1.
