PETITION FOR SPECIAL ALLOTMENT
To: Honorable P. V. Marino, President Judge
And now comes your petitioner, ELEANOR BANAHASKY,
and petitions your Honorable Court as follows:
1. Your petitioner is an adult individual who re-
sides at R. D. #2, Finleyville, Union Township, Washington
County, Pennsylvania.
2. Your petitioner is the mother and natural
guardian of BARBARA BANAHASKY, a minor, fifteen (15) years
of age, born October 14, 1953, and the said minor resides
with your petitioner at the above address in this county.
3. That your petitioner is the parent of five
children who are supported in part by their father, who is
divorced from your petitioner, at the rate of $82.50 every two
weeks and in part by the Department of Public Assistance.
4. That Anna Deharski, now deceased, mother of your
petitioner and grandmother of Barbara Banahasky, the minor,
sometime before her death which occurred on August 23, 1967,
established a savings account in the 14th Street Branch (South
Side Pittsburgh) Mellon National Bank and Trust Company entitled
as follows: "Anna Deharski in trust for Miss Barbara Banahasky."
• 0
5. The above account is numbered 32498 and as of
October 6, 1968 contained the balance of $2,000.00. No deposits,
withdrawals or entries of interest are shown on the passbook
since that date.
6. That the minor, Barbara Banahasky, is enrolled
as a full-time student in Monongahela High School and is
presently completing her junior year in that school.
7. That the minor is in need of clothing to wear
to school, which your petitioner is unable to provide on her
income, and the minor will require additional clothing and
money for graduation in the spring of 1970.
8. That because of your petitioner's financial
status, it is not possible for her to provide the minor with
the funds that are required, and your petitioner believes some
of the savings account referred to above should be used for
the benefit of the minor.
9. Wherefore, your petitioner prays your Honorable
Court to cause an Order to issue, allowing your petitioner to
withdraw a sum of money from said account to be used on behalf
of Barbara Banahasky for the purposes set forth.
AND she will ever pray.
