FIRST:The First National Bank and Trust Company of waynesburg,
Waynesburg,Greene County;Pennsylvania,filed its articles of
association with the Comptroller of the Currency,was duly incorpor-
ated under the Laws of the United States,and was authorized by the
Comptroller to conduct the business of banking as provided in Section
5169 of the Revised Statutes of the United States,at Waynesburg,
Greene County,Pennsylvania,effective October 24,1927.
SECOND:The First National Bank and Trust Company of Waynesburg,
waynesburg,'Greene County,Pennsylvania,made application and was
authorized by the Federal Reserve Board,pursuant to the Act of
Congress approved December"13,1913,(38 Statutes 251),known as

THIRD:At No.15 December Term 1927 in the Court of Common

Pleas of Greene County,Pennsylvania,the First National Bank and
Trust Company of Waynesburg,Waynesburg,Greene County,Pennsylvania,
made application for approval of powers to actin fiduciary capacities,
and on November 21,,1927,said Bank was duly approved,as a corpor-
ation,to act as trustee,,executor,administrator,'registrar of
stockS and bonds,guardian of estates,assignees,receivers,committee
of the estates of lunatics or in any other fiduciary capacity in
which state banks,trust companies or other corporations which come
into competition with national banks are permitted to act under the
laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.A copy of said Petition
and Order are attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit "A".
FOURTH:From November 21,1927,to November 16,1968,the
First National Bank"and Trust Company of Waynesburg operated under
the Certificate issued by the Comptroller of the Currency,under the
Certificate issued by the Federal Reserve Board,and under the Order
of the Court cf Common Pleas of Greene County,Pennsylvania,at
Waynesburg,Greene County,PenU¥lvania.
FIFTH:In accordance with the Order of the Court of Common
Pleas of Green.e County,Pennsylvania,financial statements as of the
last day of each and every year have been duly filed at No.15
December Term 1927.
SIXTH:The First National Bank in Washington,washington,
pennsylv~~ia,'filed its'Articles'of Association With 'the Comptroller
of the Currencl,was duly incorporated under the laws of the United
States and was authorized by the Comptroller to conduct the business
of banking as provided in Section 5169 of the Revised Statutes of

The petition of the First National Bank and Trust
Company of Waynesburg respectfully represents:
1.The First National Bank and Trust Company of
Waynesburg filed its articles of association With the Comptroller
of the Currency~and was duly incorporated under the laws of the
United States and was authorized by the Comptroller to conduct
the business of banking as prOVided in Section 5169 of the
revised statutes of the United States,at Waynesburg,Pennsylvania,
on and after October 24,1927,by certificate from his said office,
issued on said date,and said bank is now engaged in the oanking
business in its banking house at Waynesburg.
2.That your petitioner made application and was
authorized by the Federal Reserve Board,pursuant to the Act of
Congress approved December 13,1913,(38 Statutes 251),known
as the Federal Reserve Act,Section 11 (K),as amended by the
.Act of September 26,1918,(40 Statues 867)when not in con-
travention of state or local laws,the right to act as trustee,
executor,administrator,registrar of stocks and bonds,guardiap.s
of estates,receiver,committee of estates of lunatics,or i~
any other fiduciary capacity in which state banks,trust compan~es,

enter its own bond without surety for the performance of any
duties or the faithful application of any money received by it
in any trust or fiduciary capacity.
5.That your petitioner desires to act in a fiduciary
capacity in all cases wherein it is authorized tc do so,by the
laws of the United States and the laws of the State of
Pennsylvania,and exercise its powers in every case and,if
necessary,to file its own bond without sureties for the
faithful performance of its,trust in every instance,and to
end a statement of its financial condition dUly attested and
sworn to by the Cashier is hereto attached and made a part of
this petition.
Wherefore your petitioner prays your Honorable
Court to make an order authorizing your petitioner to exercise
the rights and powers set forth in this petition,with the
right to do and perform all matters which may now or hereafter

a national banking corporation,for anthority to act in a fiduciary
capacity in all matters in the Orphans Court of Washington County,
Pennsylvania,having been presented to the Court and the Court
having cons.idered the same,it is hereby Ordered and Decreed that
the prayer of the petitioner be granted and that the First Nat~onal
Bank &Trust Co.,Washington,Pa.,a national banking corporation,
is hereby approved to act as trustee,executor,administrator';re-
gistrar of stocks and bonds,guardian of estates,assignees,re-
ceivers,committee of the estates of lunatics,or in any other
fiduciary capacity and to that end shall be excused from filing
a bond in accordance with Section 323 of the Fiduciaries Act of
1949,P.L.512,Article 111,20 P.S.Section 320.323,in Washingt<n
County,Pennsylvania,where it has its main office,it may continue
to act in a fiduciary capacity in Greene County,pennsylvania,where
it has a branch office,and provided it complies wi th the rules of
the Several Courts of Greene County,pennsylvania,may act in a
fiduciary capacity in Fayette County,Pennsylvania,and in Alleghe~J
County;Pennsyhania,where it now has branch offices,provided it com-
plies with the rules of the Orphans'Court of each county;provided}
however,that said bank shall file annually with the Clerk of the Oq hanE
Court of Washington County,on or before the 31st day of January ani
each,succeeding year,a duly authenicated copy of its latest financial
statement together with a statement verified by the oath or affirma-
tinn of an executive officer of said association,that it is,at
the time of filing such st.atement,qualified to continue to act in
that capacity.
