to all the coal of the Freeport Seams or Measures in and underlying all
that certain tract of land situate in Fallowfield Township,Washington
County,Pennsylvania,being more particularly bounded and described
as follows,viz.:
BEGINNING at a post,corner to land formerly of George
Melenyzer,thence by land formerly of the said George Melenyzer,
North 31°37 r West 467.52 feet to a stump;thence by land formerly of
Albert Ghenne,now sundry lots,North 71°31'West 3756.76 feet to a
stone;thence by lands of Hazel Shannon and Rachel E.Dickey,South
00°42'West 2199.47 feet to a stake;thence by land of Esther M.Sprowls
and John L.Cooper,South 19°25'East 2325.84 feet to an oak;thence
by land of the heirs of S·amue1 Redd,South 89°17 1 East 1352.19 feet to
a stake;thence by land formerly of John Rider and land of Nanetta Shannon,
North 23°43'E,?-st 1346.40 feet to a stake;thence by land of the said
Nanetta Shannon,North 36°20'East 1973.35 feet to a post,the place of
beginning.
CONTAINING a surface area of 249.04 acres.
TOGETHER WITH the free and uninterrupted right of way into,
upo.n and under said land at such points and in such manner as may be
proper;and necessary for the purpose of digging,mining,draining,
ventilating and carrying away said coal,together with the right to surface
support and without liability for damages arising from the removal of all
said coal or from the removal of said coal or other coal,together with the
privilege of mining and removing through said premises,other coal
belonging to said Grantee,its successors or assigns,or which may be here-
after acquired by said Grantee,its successors or assigns.
