of six months from the date hereof,and to regard and comply with the provisions of the laws of this

I,EDWIN E.HALSTEAD,of the Borough of California,Washing-
ton County,Pennsylvania,do hereby make my Last Will and Testament re-
voking all Wills by me at any time heretofore made.
FIRST:I direct the payment out of my estate of·the expenses of
my illness and funeraL
.SECOND:Because of the provisions in a certain Article of Agree-
ment entered into December 7,1956 between Naomi W.Hampson,now my wife,
and myself,copies of which Agreement are in the possession of my said wife
and Attorney Barron P.McCune at Washington,Pennsylvania~and further
because of other provisions which have been made for the benefit of my sai.d
wife.including but not limited to pension and social security benefits,I make
no further references in this Will to Naomi Halstead.my wife.excepting only
that it is my express wish that my daughters.who are the owners of the re-
sidence in which I presently reside with my wife,Naomi Halstead.in the
Borough of California.Washington County,Pennsylvania,should permit the
said Naomi Halstead to continue to reside there without rent or obligation
for a period of up to one (1)year following my decease,'provided only that
Naomi Halstead should make any necessary minor repairs to keep the house
in good condition while she occupies.the same.
THIRD:I give and bequeath to the Methodist Church of California.
Pennsylvania.twenty-five (25)shares of my stock in the American Telephone
and Telegraph Company.to be retained by the Trustees of that church and the
income therefrom to be used at their discretion for the needs of the church.
I suggest and it is my wish that any stock purchase rights or other additions
or accruals to the stock herein bequeathed be purchased and added to the same
if such purchase or acquisition is not ,too much of a b;cten on~

further empower the said Trustees to sell such stock and reinvest the pro-
ceeds therefrom in any legal investment under the laws of Pennsylvania,
subject to the same provisions for the use of income,such power to be
exercised in the discretion of the said Truste~s at any time they should be-
lieve the securities herein bequeathed are no longer a safe or proper invest-
ment.
FOURTH:All the rest,residue and remainder of my estate,real
and personal,I give,devise and bequeath in equal one-half shares to Florence

FIFTH:I nominate,constitute and appoint Florence H.Newman
Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament,and I ·direct that she shall not
