Please take notice that we,the undersigned,MARY ELIZABETH
BEALL and BYRON NEILL LACOCK,Executors of the Will of Sarah
Elizabeth Lacock,Deceased,do hereby appeal to the Orphans t Cour
Division of the Court of Common Pleas of Washington County,Penn-
sylvania,from the appraisement made by you in the above named
Estate,a copy of which is attached hereto,and do hereby notify
you in writing that we elect to have the correctness of your
action determined at the Audit of the Account of the Executors of
the said Estate.In support of our appeal,we set forth the
following objections:
1.In the Inventory and Inheritance Tax Return filed
in the said Estate the Executors valued the real estate of the
decedent at $12,000.00.
2.The Department of Revenue of the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania has valued the said real estate at $15,000.00.
3.The Executors have been attempting constantly
since the death of the decedent to sell the property for a figure
which would be the equivalent of the appraisal made by the Depart
ment of Revenue but have been unable to secure any offer in that
amount.
