IN ':::'HE ORPHANS I COURT OF WASHINGTON COUNTY,PENNSYLVANIA IN RE:ESTATE OF VERN COLE a/k/a VERNE COLE .. :NO.of 1968 O.C.------ PETITION TO SETTLE SMALL ESTATE TO Till HONORABLE I P.V.MARINO,PRESIDENT JlDGE OF SA ID COURT: The Petition of Harry M.Cole respectfully represents: 1.The decedent,Vern Cole,a/k/a Verne Cole,who died on May 7,1968,resided at R.D.#1,Craven Hill,Carroll Township, Charleroi,Washington County,Pennsylvania. 2.Your petitioner,who also resides at the above mentioned address,is Harry M.Cole,the widower of the decedent and on the date~the decedentJs death as stated,formed a part of the decedentJs household. 3.The decedent left no Will and no letters of administration were granted. 4.The said Vern~Cole,a/k/a Verne Cole left surviving her the following persons entitled to share as heirs in her estate: Harry M.Cole,husband Jack K.Cole,son,age 45 years 571 Broad Street Oneida,New York J 5.The person entit~ed to the family exemption is the petitioner,Harry M.Cole as surviving spouse of the decedent and the petitioner and the deceased were residing together at the time of her death. 6.The sole asset of the deceased was a note of Herrich J.Grabiel and ZelIa F.Grabiel,his wife,of Alliance,Ohio to Harry M.Cole,the petitioner and Vern Cole,his wife,with a balance due thereon of $1,466.51.This indebtedness was secured by a Mortgage Deed of the said Herrich J.Grabiel,et ux.to the said Harry M.Cole,et ux.,dated March 28,1960,received for recording in Stark County,Ohio on March 31,1960 and recorded in ,the Recorder 1 s Office thereto in Mortgage Deed Record Book 2730,pige 324 as Instrument No.6426. 7.The following disbursements have been made from the estate prior to the filing of this Petition: Harry M.Cole,family exemption Murphy and France,attys.fees Murphy and France expenses Funeral expenses Grave Marker Orphans J 90urt fees and miscellaneous expenses $1,000.00 150.00 6.50 1,100.00 250.00 50.00 8.There are no unpaid claimants of whom this Petitione has notice or knowledge. 9.Form RCC-14 has been returned to the Department of Revenue,Bureau of County Collections,Inheritance Tax Division, ,. c/o william R.Chaney,Chief Appraiser,Inheritance Tax Division, 244 Washington Trust Building,Washington,Pennsylvania,15301 on June 25 ...1968. 10.Ten days written notice of intention to present this petitio~has been given to Jack K.Cole. WHEREFORE I Petitioner prays that the Court direct distribut on of the balance of the property remaining for distribution of the said Vern Cole,a~a Verne Cole to the said Harry M.Cole and that the Decree of Distribution authorize the mortgage deed referred to above evidencing the aforesaid indebtedness be marked satisfied of record.
