Letters of Administration in and for the County of Washington, in t:!he Commqnwea.th of Pennsylvania, the last Will and Testament of Sarah E. Jinkens a/k/a Mrs .Robert Jinkens a/k/s. Sarah Jinkens late of the City of Washington in the Count:r aforesaid, deceased, (a tr~e copy whereof is to these, presents annexed), was duly admitted to probate; and Adam L. Second: I direct that my remains be buried beside my husband I I I I in the West Alexander, Penna., Cemetery. I direct that I be buried in a steel casket; similar to that in which my husband was buried, I I encased in a steel vaulto I direct that a wreath o£ red roses be ·j · placed on my casket and paid for out o£ my estate. Third: All the rest and residue of my estate real, personal or mixed, and wherever-situate I give, devise and bequeath to the £ollowing named persons in the following proportions: (a) One-third {1/3) o£ mY residuary estate to my daughter, Dulcie May Harper Ledford. (b) One-third {1/3) of my residuary estate to my son, Gaylord Oakly Jinkens,. (c) One-third (1/3) of my residuary estate to twO'of my I Grandsons, Raymond Ao Jinkens, and Robert T. The balance for distribution consists of jewelry appraised at $50.00, whiCh has beer elected in kind by a son of the decea~ed, $100. 00 bond of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church here in Washington, which· is also elected in kind by this same son, with the i:1tention of j j 2 simply giving it back to the church. The balance for distribution is all cash. The devisees and legatees named in the will are a daughter and a son of the deceased and two grandsons. The daughter, I . ! Dulcie May Harper Ledford, I have been unable to locate. I drew • this will;at the time I drew it the mother didn't know where she was,' hadn't heard from her for years, but she said she was living, was in the West somewhere. She wasn't living with her husband. I have' made every effort in every way I know to find the woman. I have written_letters all over the West and I have gotten information' from relatives as to certain places she had been. I tried to locate her husband, with whom she doesn '~ live. I•.hav.e the Social S a::urity Administration at the present time trying to 1~ ate her. We don't have h~r Social Security number. And they are doing what they can ,.to see if we can find it. H~r share in the estate would be,one third! cf the residue in cash. And the only thing I know to do was to ask ' that her share be awarded to Russell Marino~ Regi.S.ter and Clerk of the Orphans' Court of Washington County, Pennsylvania, for her to be held according to law as money paid into Court. And I will continue to try to find her, but I am nor hopeful, after the lack of success I have had to date. The Social Security might possibly do better. Now the two grandsons, one is past 21 years of . age, Raymond A. Jinkens. The other is 19 years old. They are. residents of the State of New York. The boy who is 19 was· born •. • ! May 29, 1948 and lives with his father,.' Gaylord Oakly Jenkins in · , Bronx, New York. The father, by the way, was an adopted son of I I. the deceased. This boy who is 19 is in his second year in college. And it is my understanding that! under the law of the State of New York, he became of age under, their law on his 18th birthday on May' 29, 1967. So that being so, I feel that his share, which is a sixth of the residue, probably can be awardea dire·ct to him because of the New York law of reaching your age of 18 .
