ORDER DIRECTING CORRECTION OF BIRTH RECORD
AND NO\\.",September 6,1968;it appears to the Court that an
error was made in the ent::-y of the record of birth of Cora Margaret McElroy
who was born in Hopewell Township,Washington County,Pennsylvania,in tha
the date of said birth was ~mproperly recorded.
Proper e\'"idenl~e of her date of birth has been submitted to this
Court,to wit,a photocopy of the family record showing births and deaths
in the said family of this individual,said family record being part of the famil~
Bible possessed by the parents of said individual at the time of her birth;
the said family recorj indicates that Cora Margaret McElroy W2.S born on
December 21 ,1905;the said photocopy is hereto attached and marked
Exhibit "AII.The Co~rt is also supplied with a photocopy of a certificate of
baptism sh)wing that Cora Margaret McElroy was.baptized by a minister of
the Gospel (John C.2truble)on the 18th day ~f r~~vember)1906;th~said

It is therebre plainly eviC.ent that the said child haVing been baptized on

November 18,1906,must have been born prior to said date,.and that the date..
of birth was therefore December 21,1905,as shown in the family record
contained in the famLy Bible,rather than the heretofore recorded date of
December 21,1906.

that the record of bir:h of said Cora Margaret :McElroy recorded in the Office
of the Register of Wins of Washington County,Pennsylvania,in Birth Record
or Volume Number 3:Page 176,.Item No.33,sq.all be corrected to show the
birth of said CQra Margaret .McE~roy tQ be Decembe'r 21,1905;that all
other matters recorded in said birth record shall remain as heretofore;
