ESTATE OF HAROLD E.
FREDERICK,DECEASED.
PETITION FOR SETTLEMENT OF A SMALL
ESTATE UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF
SECTION 202 OF THE FICUCIARIES ACT
OF 1949,P.L.512,AS AMENDED.
TO THE HONORABLE P.V.MARINO,PRESIDENT JUDGE
OF SAID COURT:
The petition of Almeada S.Frederick,respectfully
represents:
1.Harold E.Frederick,the decedent,was a resident
of North Franklin Township,Washington County,Pennsylvania,
and his post office address was 1643 Park Avenue,Washington,
Pennsylvania.
2.That Harold E.Frederick died April 16,1968.
3.That the only personal property of which the
decedent died seized was a claim for ,refund of unearned premiums
against Reserve Life Insurance Company in the amount of $12.88
represented by a ,draft of said company dated May 29,1968,drawn.,
in favor of'Harold E.Frederick Estate and claims for benefits~·I
under Pennsylvania Blue Shield in the amounts of $119.20 and
$29.80 respectively,represented .by cpeck of said organization,,.
dated May 24,1968,in the amount of $119.20,and check dated
June 3,1968,in the amount of $29.80,'both payable to H.
Frederick.No wages were paid to members of the decedentts family.
There was no real estate.
4.All persons who would be entitled to share in
distribution of decedentts estate,if decedent died intestate,
are as follows:Almeada S.Frederick,over twenty-one,widow
of decedent residing at 1643 Park Avenue,~ashington,Pennsylvania;

Warren T.Frederick,over twenty-one,son,residing at 655
Allison Avenue,Washington,Pennsylvania;Dorothy Barton,over
twenty-one,daughter,of Chautauqua,New York;Muriel Palli,
over twenty-one,daughter,of 1604 Clark Street,Clearwater,
Florida;EdwinE.Frederick,over twenty-one,(son,117 Mill
street,Athens,Ohio 45701;Robert S.Frederick,over twenty-one,

son,36 Morrislea Court,Baltimore,Maryland 21234,and Carolyn
A.Frederick,aged years,,dau~hte~,.1643 Park Avenue,
Washington,Pennsylvania.

5.The decedent died intestate.
6.There are no unpaid creditors except your
petitioner who advanced the sum 'of $795.00 to Piatt Funeral
Home for funeral expenses and $275.00 to Simon \fuites &Sons
for a grave marker.
7.The assets of the estate consist of checks as
above set forth.
8.The petitioner is the surviving spouse of the
decedent who maintained a family relationship with decedent
to the date of death,and is entitled to and therefore claims
the assets above set forth as a credit toward payment of the
family allowance.
WHEREFORE,your petitioner asks that an Order be
made authorizing and directing your petitioner to endorse and
cash the above described draft and checks and to distribute
the same to herself on account of the family allowance as
provided py law.

according to law deposes and says that the facts set forth in

AND NOW,August a-~,1968,the within Petition
having been presented to-the Court and it appearing to the Court
that jurisdiction falls within the ,provisions ,of S'ecti~n:'.202

of the Fiduciaries Act.of 1949,P.L.512,as Amended,and
that the total of said estate is less than One Thousand ($l,OOO.OC)
.Dollars,to Wit,the sum of $161.88,and therefore below the
amount of family allowance provided'by law and that petitioner
is the surviving spouse dUly entitled to the family allowance,
NOW THEREFORE,on motion of McCreight,Marriner &McCreight,
IT IS ORDERED AND DECREED that Almeada S.Frederick,the
petitoner,be and is hereby authorized and directed to cash the
draft and the two checks hereinabove referred to,to pay the
Court costs,attorneys fees in the amount of $45.00 and notary fee
in the amount,of 75~and to receive distribution of the balance
as a credit toward the family allowance.
