PETITION TO FIX ADDITIONAL BOND.
To the Honorable P.V.Ma~ino,President JUdge of said Court:
The petition of Merle M.Humbert,administratrix
of the estate of Joseph A.HUIJlbert,decedent above named,
respectfully represents,to wit:
1.The above named,Joseph A.Humbert,died
intestate,on October 23,1966,domiciled at the City of
Washin~ton,Washin~ton Co~nty,Pennsylvania,and your
petitioner,his widow,"M9rle M.Humbert,was thereafter
duly appointed administra~rix of his estate by the Register
of Wills of Washington CO"xnty,Pennsylvania,and duly qualified
and is now act ing as such.
2.Petitione~desires to sell at private sale
to Robert W.Sweeny and D031ia D.Sweeny,his wife,for the
sum of $18,000.00,certai~real estate known as No.666,
East Maiden Street,in the Fifth Ward of the City of Washing-
ton,Washington County,Pennsylvania,occupied by said decedent
as his home,more fully d03scribed as follows,to wit:
Lot No.6 in the plan of lots laid out by the
heirs of William Worl~an,deceased,as amended by footnote
on the record thereof,dated January 10,1902,and recorded
in the Recorder's Of:'ice of Washington County,Pennsylvania,
in Plan Book 2,page 97,fronting 50 feet on the southerly
side of East Maiden Street and extending back therefrom of
even width 1.50 feet to Angle Street;bounded on the East by
lot No.7 and on the west by lot No •.5 in said plan as amended.
Being the same premises conveyed to said decedent
by deed of Byron W.Shimp et ux.et al.,dated March 6,19.59,
and recorded in said Recorder's ·Office in Deed Book 1041,page
18.5.

3.A copy OJf the attached notice of presentation of this
petition was sent by U.S.certified mail on July 5,1968,to
decedent's other heirs,to wit,Elsie H.Burt,Thomas S.Humbert,
Jr.,Joseph A.Humbert,Janis H.Garceau,and Ellen H.White,and
received by them as shown by the several attached postal receipts.
4.Other nal estate interests owned by decedent at the
time of his death include an undivided one-third interest as
heir of P.P.Humbert in approximately 12 acres of land situate
par12y in the Seventh Ward of the City of Washington and partly in
South Strabane Township,Washington County,Pennsylvania;parts of
lots 1 to 9 inclusive,Humbert Addition No.2 in said City and parts
of lots 10 and 11,in said Addition and Township,fronting on Tyler
Avenue;and parts or all of lots 24,130,40 to 43 inclusive,and
35 to 38 inclusive,in said Township.Also an undivided one-half
interest in lot No.64,Humbert Addition No.1,in said Township.
None of decedent's real estate has been sold in administration.
5.The personal estate of decedent is estimated to be of
a value of about $500.00 consisting of a checking account in bank
of $386.53,a 1957 Buick automobile,and some household goods.
6.The real estate proposed to be sold is subject to the
liens of a mortgage in the amount of $3,000.00,e judgment in the
amount of $1,000.00,and tax liens.
7.Affidavits of two qualified persons to the effect the
proposed sale price of $18,000.00 is more than can be obtained at
pUblic sale are attached hereto and made part hereof.
8.At the time of petitioner's appointment as administrator
she gave bond in the sum of $1,000.00 as such administratrix,which
bond is still in effect.
Wherefore,showing as above,petitioner respectfully
prays that your Honorable Court approve said private sale,and
waive or fix the amount of additional bond to be given by your
petitioner,pursuant to sec.
And she will ever pray,etc.

Notice is hereby given that Merle M.Humbert,
administratrix of the above entitled estate,will,on Monday,
July 15,1968,at 10 o'clock a.m.,daylight saving time,
present her petition to the Orphans Court of Washington County,
Pennsylvania,in the Orphans Court Room,Court House,Washington,
Pennsylvania,to fix or waive additional security to be entered
by the said Merle M.Humbert,administratrix as aforesaid,and
upon compliance with said order,authorizing her to receive
the proceeds of sale of certain real estate of the said decedent,
to wit,Lot No.6,in the Workman Plan,Fifth Ward,Washington,
Pennsylvania,fronting 50 feet on the southerly aide of East
Maiden Street,and extending back of even width 150 feet to
Angle Street,occupied by decedent as his home,and designated as
No.666,East Maiden Street,to Robert W.Sweeny et ux.,for the.
price of $18,000.00,at private sale;when and where you may
appear and be heard if you so desire,otherwise the Court may
make an order granting the prayer of the petition.
