The Petition cf CLARA BOWERS,Executrix of the Estate 'of Henry
Bowers,deceased,respectfully represents:

Henry Bowers,deceased,died testate on May 8,1963,and his will
was admitted to probate or.July 8,1968,by the Register of Wills of
Washington County,Pennsylvania;a copy of the will is attached hereto and
marked Exhibit "Alt.

Henry Bowers cied seized of certain real property situate in Union
Township,Washington County,Pennsylvania,being more fully described as
follows:
ALL that certcin piece or parcel of land situate in Union
Township,Washington County,Pennsylvania,and more particularly
bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at c point common to land of Thomas Wallace,the
within described tract of land and First Avenue;thence by said
First Avenue,South 120 0'East,a distance of 40 feet;thence by
other lands of which the within described tract is a part,North
720 39'East,a distcnce of 50.90 feet to a poi~t;thence by the
same South 190 05'Ecst,a distance of 75.feet;thence by the same
North 730 35'East,c distance of 108.50 feet to a point on lands
of Boyka;thence by said Boyka lands,North 190 05'West,a dis-
tance of 36.50 feet to a point;thence by a 12 foot alley Sout~
730 35'West,a distance of 12 feet to a point;thence by the same

That by his ~ill the decedent devised one-half of the property to
his wife,Clara Bowers,and one-sixth of the property to William J.Bowers,
one-sixth to Verna May Eowers,and one-sixth to William Bowers (William J.
Bowers,Jr.).The said William J.Bowers and Verna May Bowers have executed
a deed to the petitioner for their shares of the property.

The said William J.Bowers,Jr.,is a minor,and is,therefore,
incapable of executing any deed for the sale of the ~eal estate.

Your Petitioner has agreed to purchase the said minor's interest
in the real estate for the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00)Dollars.

Your Petitioner is a resident of Gastonville,Pennsylvana,and
requests your Honorable Court to approve said private sale of said real estate
for the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00)Dollars,which amount is one-sixth of
the appraised value.

Attached hereto and marked Exhibit lIB"is an affidavit of a
competent person to the effect that the offered price at the proposed sale
is a fair and adequate ~rice,being one-sixth of the appraised value.

The proceeds due the said minor are to be held thereafter in trust
for disposition as ordered by this Court.

The private 3ale of the land and the disposition of the proceeds
thereof is in the best i~terest of all those interested in the land.The sale
will be without any prejudice to any trust or charity,or without the violation
of any law which may confer an immunity or exemption from sale or alienation.

The Petitioner requests the Court appoint a trustee to sell the
land described herein at private sale upon the terms set forth herein,and
thereafter to hold and d~stribute the proceeds of such sale as the Court
directs.
WHEREFORE,yo~r Petitioner requests that your Honorable Court grant
permission for the sale of said real estate situate in Union Township,
Washington County,Penns~lvania.

already had an assignment from William J.Bowers and Verna May
Bowers.The purpos e of this proceeding is just to allow Mrs.
Bowers to buy the one sixth interest of the minor,William Bowers.
We have attachli:1d t.o the Petition an Affidavit of Mr.VanVoorhis,

the real estate broker.appraising the property at $3,000 as of the
date of death.I have an Affidavit of Service where we served a
copy of the Pdition di::-ectly upon the minor on the 27th of August.
