ORDER DIRECTING CORRECTION OF BffiTH RECORD
AND NOW,April 17,1968,it appears to the Court that errors
were made in the entry of the record of birth of Ethel Isherwood who was born'
in Canonsburg,Washington County,Pennsylvania,in that the date of said
birth was incorrectly entered,as well as the place of said birth.Proper
evidence of her date of birth has been submitted to this Court,to wit,a
photocopy of certificate of baptism issued by the.First Methodist Church,.
Canonsburg,Pennsylvania,showirig the date of birth of Ethel Lucille Isherwo d,
daughter of Annie Isherwood and Ernest Isherwood,to be October 5,1904.
The said photocopy is hereto attached and marked ExhibittW~There has
been submitted to the Court affidavit of Lillian Y.Wilson,an aunt of the said
Ethel Isherwood,she being a sister of the mother of said Ethel Isherwood;
said affidavit decrares that the said Ethel Isherwood was born on Pike Street,

Isherwood,to the Metropolitan Life Ins.urancJe Company for a life insurance

policy on her life;the said application,made more than twelve years ago,
shows the birthplace of Ethel Isherwood to be Canonsburg,Pennsylvania,
and the birthdate to be October 5,1904;the said photocopy is hereto attached
and marked Exhibit IIC II .
NOW,THEREFORE,IT IS ORDERED AND DECREED
that the record of birth of said Ethel Isherwood,also known as Ethel Lucille
Isherwood,recorded in the Office of the Register of Wills of Washington
County,Pennsylvania,in Birth Record Volume or Docket No.3,Page 112,
Item No.6,shall be corrected to show the birth of said Ethel IsherGwood
to be on October 5,1904,and the place of birth of said person to be
Canonsburg,Pennsylvania;that all other matters recorded in said birth
record shall remain as heretofore;that a notation shall be entered in said
docket,in red ink,showing the authority of the Clerk to make said correctio
by citing this Order.
