LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
I,MAE M.WALTON,of the Borough of Donora,,Washington
County,Pennsylvania,being of sound and disposing mind and memory,do
hereby make,publish'and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament,
hereby revoking any and all former Wills or testamentary writings
heretofore made by me.
FIRST.I appoint Bessie Balazs,my beloved daughter,as
Executrix of this,my Last Will and Testament.,In the event that for
any reason my said daughter shall not assume or continue in her office
as Executrix,I appoint in her place or stead Betsy Balazs,my beloved
granddaughter.I direct that no bond shall be required of-either of
the appointees named in this paragraph.My Executrix,in additiori to
the powers conferred upon her 'by law,shall have the power to sell at
public or private sale,to exchange or to lease,for any period of time,
any real or personal property,and to give options for sales,exchanges
or leases,for such prices and upon such terms or conditions as she
deems proper.
SECOND.I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses
be fully paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently may be after my
death subject to the provisions of article THIRD immediately below.
THIRD.I give,devise and bequeath all my property,real,
personal and mixed,wheresoever located and-whether acquired'before or
after executj,on of this,my Last Will and Testament,-to Bessie Balazs,
my aforesaid daughter,provided s11e shall pay my funeral expenses out
of Savings Account No.14518 of Dormont Office 6f Pitt~burgh National
Bank (formerly Peoples First National Bank and Trust Company)or app~y

the total in that account to my funeral expenses,the said account being
one in which tlle said Bessie Balazs is a joint owner•. I

FOURTH.In the·eventtbe bene-ficiary named in article THIRD
immediately above shall not survive me I give,devise and bequeath my
entire estate to Betsy Balazs,my aforesaid granddaughter.

-FIFTH.In the event that neither of the beneficiaries named
in articles THIRD and FOURTH shall survive me,I direct t}lat all my
property,real,personal and mixed,wheresoever located and whether
acquired before or after execution of this,my Last ttlll and Testament,
shall pass and be distributed accordingtGthe scheme of distribution
set out in the laws of Pennsylvania governing ~ntestate descent.
SIXTH._I direct that all taxes that may be assessed in
consequence of my death,of whatever nature and by whatever juriscliction-
imposed,shall be paid from my residuary estate as a part of the expense
of the administration of my estate.
SEVENTH.In construing the provisions of this,my Last Will
and Testament,use of the masculine,feminine and neuter genders shall
include the others;the singular shall incluqe the plural and the plural
shall include the singular;and words used in the past or present tense
-shall include the future tense.The terms llchildTr ,Ilchildrenll ,
l!descendant11 ,Ildescenc1ants II and Ili.ssue II shall include any person adopted
hy me or by any c11ild or descendant of mine,and his descendants.

TO THE HONORABLE,THE PRESIDENT JUDGE OF SAID COURT:
The Petition of Bessie Balazs,Execut~ix of the 18.t Will
and Te.tament of Mae M.Walton,Decea.ed,re'.peetfully repre-
gent.that:
1."She is the daughter of the late Mae 11.Walton,who made '
her residence with your Petitioner at 673 McKean Avenue,Borough
of Donora,Wa'shington County,Pennsylvania,prior to and at the
time of her death.

The said Mae M.Walton died testate Februaryeth,1968.
Letters Testamentary were granted to your Petitioner on
April 1st,1968,by the Register of Wills of Washington County,
Pennsylvania,and the usual Estate Notice was advertised by the
Executrix in the Donora Herald-American and Washington County
Reports.Attached hereto,marked EXhibits A,Band C,are the
Letters Testamentary (with copy of Will attached),and the proofs
of publication of the Estate Notice.
4.At the time of her death decedent owned no personal
property except two rights of action for personal injuries.One,
against Magee-Women's Hospital,was filed prior to her death at
No.2503 April Term,1967,A.D.,in tbe Court of Common Pleas of
Allegheny County,Pennsylvania.This action was settled and
compromised on Petition and Order of the Allegheny County Court
prior to trial,and your Petitioner received the sum of $48,.67
as Executrix of the Estate of the decedent,this amount being the
net proceeds of the survival action after payment of attorney"s
fees and costs.

The other action was filed by your Petitioner as Execu-
trix of the Estate against Haven Crest,Inc.,on November 21st,
1968,at No.157 November Term,1968,A.D.,in the Court of
Common Pleas of Washington County,Pennsylvania.This action was
also settled prior to trial on Petition to the Washington County
Court,and Y9ur Petitioner received the sum of $1,~47.ll as
Executrix of the Estate of the decedent,this amount being the
net proceeds of the survival action after payment of attorney's
fees and costs.
The total personal property now in the hands of the
Executrix for distribution is $2,332.78.
No wages were paid to the Petitioner or any other perso'~
under the provisions of Section 201 of the Fiduciaries Act of 19~,
as amended.
5.Your Petitioner is entitled to and hereby makes claim
for the family exemption of $1,000.00••
6.Attached hereto,marked EXhibit D,is photostat of
funeral bill of Lawson-Rabe Funeral Home in the sum of $1,221.24.
This bill was paid by William S.Walton and Floyd W.Walton,sons
of the decedent.
7.There is attached heretot marked Exhibit E,a photostat
of the bill of C.Ramaswamy,M.D.,in the total amount of $500.00
a credit of $400.00 is shown as having been paid by Medicare on
May 7th,1968,leaving a balance of $100.00.Your Petitioner
denies that this is a proper claim against the estate.
8.There are no other creditors of the decedent to your
Petitioner's knowledge,except Kauffman's Department Store in the
.sum of $233.37.
WHEREFORE,Petitioner prays that the property described in
paragraph ~be distributed under the provisions of Sections 202
and 211 of the Fiduciaries Act of 19~9,P.L.512,as amended,in
the following manner:
