ITEM 2.I give,and bequeath to my wife,Annetta I. Lutes,all of my household goods for and during the period of her natural lifetime and at her death I give,and bequeath said house- hold goods to my daughter-in-law,Marie L.Lutes. ITEM 3.All the rest and residue of my estate,real, personal or mixed of whatsoever kind and nature,and wheresoever situate,I give,devise and bequeath unto my Executor and Trustee hereinafter named,in trust,to convert the same into cash and to invest and reinvest the same in such interest bearing securitie as he may deem advisable in his discretion and to payout and dis- pose of the principal and income thereof as hereinafter directed; and for the purpose of converting my estate into cash I hereby authorize and empower my Executor and Trustee to sell either at pUblic or private sale,for such price and upon such terms as he may deem best for the interest of my estate,any and all real estate that I may own at the time of my decease and to make,executE. and deliver to the purchaser or purchasers thereof,a good and sufficient deed or deeds for the same as fully as I might do if living.I hereby give to my Executor in the settlement of my estate and to my Trustee,these additional powers,all or any of which he may exercise in his own sound judgment and discretion.
