PETITION FOR SETTLEMENT OF ESTATE OF LESS THAN $2,500.00
UNDER SECTION 202 OF THE FIDUCIARIES ACT OF 1949 AS AMENDED
TO THE HONORABLE, P. V. MARINO, PRES !DENT JUDGE OF SAID COURT:
The Petition of CALLIE M. REARDON respectfully represents:
1. That your petitioner resides at Box 123, Eldersville, Pennsylvania 15036.
2. That John Reardon, at the time of his death, was a resident of Jefferson
Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, Post Office Addres~ Box 123, Eldersville,
Pennsylvania 15036.
3. That decedent died December 8th, 1967, at 7:15 o'clock P.M., at his
home.
4. That on December 18th, 1967 your petitioner made application for Letters
of Administration on the estate of said decedent, and the same day Letters of Admini-
stration were granted to your petitioner. At the time of the application for Letters
your petitioner was lead to believe by the Credit Union that Short Certificates would .
be required 'to transfer certain funds and for receipt of benefits from certain in-
surance policies.
5~ That your petitioner was, on December 19th, 1967, advised that she was
beneficiary of the insurance policies and that the Credit Union funds were in the
joint names of decedent and your petitioner, his wife.
6. That all of the personal property of the decedent which has come to the
knowledge of your petitioner is a 1963 Chevrolet Impala, the actual value of which is
less than $750.00.
7. That the only heirs at law of the decedent are the following:

ALICE KENNEDY Sister Box 145, Eldersville, Penna. 15036
EVELYN HURSKY Sister 15248 Boston Rd., Strongsville, Ohio
VIOLA PUMPHREY Sister R· D. #3, Fredericktown, Ohio
8. The decedent died intestate.
9. Your petitioner and the decedent were husband and wife and the family re-
lationship was maintained until the husband 1 s death, and your petitioner is entitled to
the Family Exemption.
10. Your petitioner has paid the funeral bill and will pay the costs of this
proceedings.
11. All of the creditors of the decedent, in so far as they are known to your
petitioner, are as follows:
THE JAMES FUNERAL HOME Follansbee, W. Va. $1,368.61
WHEREFORE, your petitioner prays your Honorable Court for a Decree authorizing
her to transfer title to the 1963 Chevrolet Impala to herself in order to reimburse her,
in part, for the funeral expenses advanced by her, and further prays your Honorable
Court, upon transfer of the title to the automobile, to discharge her as Administratrix
and to relieve the bonding company of all further liability under the bond filed by her.
And she will ever pray, etc.

,J I J , 1968, upon. consideration of the foregoing Petition
and on motion of JAMES R. DONALDSON, Attorney for the petitioner, IT IS ORDERED AND
DECREED that CALLIE M. REARDON transfer the title to the 1963 Chevrolet Impala, re-
gistered in the name of JOHN REARDON, to herself as partial reimbursement on account
of the amount advanced by her for the payment of the funeral bill and, upon the trans-
fer of said C~rtificate of Title and the filing of a Receipt for the same by CALLIE M.
REARDON,IT IS FURTHER ORDERED AND DECREED that CALLIE M. REARDON be discharged as Ad-
ministratrix of the Estate of JOHN REARDON, Deceased, and that the surety on the bond
filed by her be discharged from further liability.
CALLIE M. REARDON is ALSO AUTHORIZED AND DIRECTED to cash any Income Tax Refund
check received in the name of JOHN REARDON and to apply the same on account of the
funeral bill.
