PETITION FOR FAMILY EXEMPTION AND
PETITION IN AN ESTATE OF LESS THAN
TWENTY-FIVE HUNDRED ($2,500.00) DOLLARS
UNDER ART. II., SEC. 202 OF THE FIDU-
CIARIES ACT OF 1949, P.L. 512, 66,
AS AMENDED.
TO THE HONORABLE, THE JUDGE OF SAID COURT:
The Petition of Ephraim Alford respectfully represents:
1. That your petitioner is the Administrator of the Estate
of Bernice Alford, deceased, having been so appointed on March 1,
1968.
2. That the residence of the decedent was R. D. # 1,
Canonsburg, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
3. That the decedent died on November 28, 1967, at R. D. # 1,
Canonsburg, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and was forty-nine
(49) years of age.
4. That a family relationship was maintained between the
Petitioner and decedent until the date of her death.
5. That the estate of the decedent is in a small amount, )
not sufficient to warrant administration and filing of inventory,
account and audit petition.
6. That the estate of the decedent is composed entirely
f personal property, being cash in the amount of $2,256.7:0,
hich amount is derived from the settlement of the survival action.
7. That the decedent left to survive her the following heirs·:

decedent. The petitioner, out of the funds of the estate have

10. That your petitioner claims the following personal
property of the decedent as his family exemption under Section
211 of the Fiduciary Act of 1949, to-wit:
Cash 1,000.00
11. That the balance of the money be distributed pursuant
to the provisions of Article II, Section 202, of the Fiduciaries
Act of 1949, P. L. 512, as amended, as Bernice Alford, deceased,
domiciled in the Borough of Canonsburg, Co~nty of Washington,
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, leaving anestate composed of
personal property of a gross value not exceeding Twenty-five
Hundred ($2,500.00) Dollars.

expenses advanced $1,256.70
WHEREFORE, your petitioner prays your Honorable Court set
the cash aside to Ephraim Alford as his family exemption and
enter decree of distribution as to the balance, without further
notice or with such notice as your Honorable Court may determine
necessary.
