PETITION FOR FAMILY EXEMPTION
To the Honorable P. V. Marino, President Judge of said Court:
The Petition of Martha W. Beard respectfully represent·
that:
1. Petitioner is the surviving spouse of George
William Beard, also known as George W. Beard, a resident of Mount
Pleasant Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, who died on
December 29, 1967, intestate.
2. Petitioner was married to and resided with
decedent at the time of his death and has not forfeited her right
to claim the family exemption provided by Section 211 of the
Fiduciaries Act of 1949, as amended.
3. So far as petitioner has been able to discover,
the only property which said decedent owned in his own name at the
time of his death consisted of a 1958 Pontiac sedan automobile
Manufacturer's No. P858Hl7846, the fair market value of which is
One hundred fifty ($150.00) Dollars, and a 1954 Chevrolet truck
Serial No. OC154Fll9234, the fair market value of which is One
hundred ninety-five ($195.00) Dollars. Copies of the Certificates f
Title are attached hereto ·as Exhibits "B" and "C".
4. The valuesstated in Paragraph 3 hereof are based
upon appraisements made by David T. Staudt of Hickory, Pennsylvan· ,
a person familiar as an insurance broker with the value of second-
hand motor vehicles. A copy of Mr. Staudt's Appraisal Report is
attached hereto as Exhibit "A".

5. Your petitioner desires to claim the motor vehicles
referred to above on account of the family exemption.
WHEREFORE, your petitioner prays your Honorable Court
; for an Order under the provisions of Section 211 of the Fiduciaries ; .
Act of 1949, as amended, awarding the above-described motor
vehicles to your petitioner at the values stated on account of the
family exemption.

stated on account of the family exemption under the provisions of
Section 211 of the Fiduciaries Act of 1949, as amended:
