PETITION FOR SUPPLEMENTAL ORDER PERTAINING
TO SETTLEMENT AND DISTRIBUTION OF ESTATE
OF.LESS THi\N $2,5.00.00 .UNDER .PROVISIONS .OF
SECTION 202 OF THE FIDUCIARIES ACT OF 1949.
TO THE HONORABLE P.·V.MARINO,
PRESIDENT JUDGE OF SAID DIVISION:
The Petition of IDA A.SCHRADING respectfully
represents:
1.That she is the surviving sui juris widow of
Harry V.Schrading, who died March 29,1967,a resident of North
Charleroi,Washington County,Pennsylvania.
2.That said Harry V.Schrading died intestate.
3.That said decedent was survived by your petitioner,
his wife, and by two daughters,'Vivian A.Broadwater of Grind-
stone,Pennsylvania,and Nancy A.Kuzemka of Levittown,Pennsyl-
vania.
4.That following his death your petitioner filed a
petition for the settlement and distribution of her husband's
estate under Section 202 of the Fiduciaries Act of 1949,as
amended, and on January 5,1968,this Court made a Decree award-
ing certain items to your petitioner in reimbursement of the
funds advanced by her to pay debts due by the decedent's estate
in the aggregate of $2,826.00 including the satisfaction of her
claim for the Family Exemption in the sum of $1,000.00 •.
5.That the aforesaid petition was unintentionally
inflated,in that gross monies listed as being available were
set forth as:Pension Benefits -$2,319.20,Social Security
Benefits -$226.00 and Monies held by I.R.S.-$79.71,totaling
$2,624.91,when,in fact,$1,000.00 had been paid to your
petitioner under Sec~ion 201 of the Fiduciaries Act,hence the
total qualifying for distribution under said Section 202 was
$1,624.91.
6.That since said.petition was presented and acted
upon, your petitioner has received seventeen United States of
America Series E.Bonds issued in the name of her said deceased
husband,having a face value at maturity of $425.00,being $25.00
each.These bonds had a value approximating $370.00 at'time of
decedent's death.
7.That these bonds cQnsisted of the decedent's share
of the Pittsburgh Steel Company,Savings &Vacati"on Plan,
Trust #100512-4.
8.That aggregating the value of these bonds at the
time of the decedent's death with the items listed in Paragraph
5,above,totals $1,994,91,which is still below the $2,500.00
limit for proceedings under said Section 202.
9.That your petitioner desires to have said seventeen
bonds reissued in her name, but has been advised by the Federal
Reserve Board that the bonds must first be awarded to her by a
court of competent jurisdiction.
10.That the expenses which your petitioner had paid
or will,in connection with this petition, advance in behalf of
the decedent's estate, such as paying the attorney's fees for
the preparation and presentation of this petition and the allied
filing fees and costs, will exceed $2,900.00,and therefore these
items are proper items for reimbursement.
WHEREFORE,your petitioner prays your Honorable Court
to direct distribution to her of the seventeen bonds set forth
in Paragraph 6 hereof in accordance with the provisions of Sections
202 and 211 of the Fiduciaries Act of 1949,as amended.
