First.I direct that all my Just debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon as can be conveniently done after my decease. Second.I give,devise and bequeath to the Citizens National Bank of Washington,Pennsylvania,all of my property, real,personal,and mixed,of what nature or kind soever,and wheresoever the same shall be at the time of my death,in Trust, However,for the person hereinafter named,and appointed,under and subject to the provisions and conditions,and for the uses and purposes hereinafter set forth and none other,that is to say,that it shall invest the same at interest,upon bond and mortgage on real estate,or in such other stocks,bonds or se- curities as in its discretion it may think proper,not being limited to so-called legal investments and shall pay over the interest,income and dividends thereof,either annually,semi- annually,or quarterly,to my beloved wife,Loretta J.Ball, for and during her natural life,so that the same shall be for her sole and separate use,and not in her power or control nor liable to her debts,contracts or engagements. Third.My Trustee hereinbefore named is authorized to pay for all replacements and repairs that may be necessary to keep my residence in Beallsville Borough in its present state of condition and repair and to pay all taxes,insurance premiums and other charges and expenses that it may deem necessary for thi purpose,deducting the costs thereof from the distribution directed to be made to my wife. Fourth.My Trustee hereinbefore named,may retain any sha.res of stock in any corporation,any bonds,securities, or any investments whatsoevever,of which I may be possessed at the time of my'death and it may from time to time,vary,alter and transpose all or any of the stocks,funds,shares,and securities into or for other ~tocks,funds,shares and securities as in Trustee's discretion,may think proper,not being limited to so-called legal investments,with full power to vote all stock at corporation meetings. Fifth.If during the lifetime of my wife,Loretta J. Ball,it should become necessary to make advancements from the principal of the trust fund herein created for her proper maintenance,my trustee is authorized to use any amount of the principal for that purpose if in its discretion said disburse- ments are necessary for said purpose. Sixth.Subject to the life estate of my Wife, Loretta J.Ball,I give,devise and bequeath to my daughter, Bessie Hixon,my home property,including the Robert Hawkins property and a small lot purchased from Philip Clark,together with all furniture,fittings,live stock,machinery and other articles therein or thereon,in fee.
