Byers,of the City of Monongahela,Washington County,Pennsyl- vania,having full legal capacity in the premises,do hereby make this my Last Will and Testament,hereby revoking and making void any and all wills heretofore made by me,in mWLner and form as follows: 1.I hereby direct that my Executrix,hereinafter named,shall pay my funeral expenses and the expenses of the administration of my estate as soon after my decease as may be convenient. 2.I will and bequeath the sum of Five Thousand ($5,000.00)Dollars to my grandson,Robert C.Byers,of Carroll Township,Washington County,Pennsylv nia,absolutely. 3.I will and beque th the sum of Five Thousand ($5,000.00)Dollars to Kenneth P.Eckert of the City of Mononga- hela,Washington County,Pennsylvania,absolutely. 4.I will and bequeath the sum of One Thousand ($1,000.00)Dollars to the First Methodist Church of Monongahela, Pennsylvania,absolutely. 5.I will and devise my real estate situate at the Northeast corner of West Main Street and Fourth Street in the City of Monongahela,Washington County,Pennsylvania,fronting on the Northern side of West Main Street and extending back along the Eastern line of said Fourth Street on the West and the Western line of land now or formerly of Charles H.Myers on the East to the line of a private alley,and having erected thereon a three story brick business and apartment bUilding and a two story brick business and apartment building,to my son,R.Edwin Byers,for and during the term of his natural life,with remainder over,upon his death,to my grandson,Robert C.Byers,his heirs and assigns, forever. 6.I direct that all transfer inheritance,succession and estate taxes due upon the legacies set forth in paragraphs c • .. , 2,3 and 4,and the devise in paragraph 5 hereof,shall be paid from the corpus of my est teo 7.All the rest and residue of my estate,both real and personal,wheresoever situate or found,of which I may die seized or possessed,or to which I may be entitled at the time of my decease,and remaining after the payment of the items set forth in the preceding paragraphs hereof,I will,devise and bequeath unto my wife,Martha S.Byers,her heirs and assigns,forever,in fee simple and absolutely,providing,however,that my said wife should survive me in life.In the event that my said wife should predecease me,then,I will,devise and bequeath such residuum estate unto my son,R.Edwin Byers,and my grandson,Robert C.
