MY LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT.
I.I DIREOT THE PAYMENT OF ALL MY DEBTS AND FUNERAL EX-
PENSES AS SOON AS OONVENIENT AFTER MY DEOEASE.
2.r;(VE,DEVISE AND BEQUEATH TO MY BROTHER,JACOB
BERMAN,THE SUM OF Two THOUSAND($2,000.00)DOLLARS.
3.GIVE,DEVISE AND BEQUEATH TO THE JEWISH NATIONAL
FUND THE SUM OF ONE THOUSAND ($1,000.00)DOLLARS.
4.GIVE,DEVISE AND BEQUEATH THE SUM OF FIVE HUNDRED
($500.00 )DOLLARS TO THE BETH ISRAEL SYNAGOGUE,TO BE USED FOR IM-
PROVEMENT PURPOSES OR TO PAY OFF INDEBTEDNESS,AND NOT FOR GENERAL
MAINTENANOE.
5.GIVE,DEVISE AND BEQUEATH ANY PROPERTY,REAL,PER-
SONAL OR MIXED,OR ANY INTEREST THEREIN,IN WHICH I HOLD AN INTERES
OR SHARE WI TH MY WI FE,ESTHER BERMAN,EITHE R AS TENANT IN COMMON OR
PARTNER,TO MY SAID WIFE,ESTHER BERMAN,TO BE HERS ABSOLUTELY,AND,
IN THE EVENT SHE DOES NOT SURVIVE ME,TO MY CHILDREN,LOUIS BERMAN
AND BERNARD H.BERMAN,IN EQUAL SHARES,ABSOLUTELY.
6.GIVE,DEVISE AND BEQUEATH ALL THE REST,RESIDUE AND
REMAINDER OF MY PROPERTY,REAL,PERSONAL AND MIXED,IN EQUAL SHARES
TO MY TWO SONS,LOUIS BERMAN AND BERNARD H.BERMAN.
7.DIRECT THAT THE ABOVE BEQUESTS SHALL BE PAID IN FUL ,
WITHOUT ANY DEDUOTIONS WHATSOEVER,BY REASON OF ANY TAXES,INHERIT-
ANCE OR OTHERWISE,THE SAID TAXES OR CHARGE OF ANy KIND AGAINST
SAID LEGACIES TO BE PAYABLE OUT OF MY ESTATE.
8.I NOMINATE,CONSTITUTE AND APPOINT MY BELOVED WIFE,
ESTHER BERMAN,EXECUTRIX OF THIS,MY LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT,AND,
IF SHE DOES NOT SURVIVE ME,THEN I APPOINT MY TWO SONS,LOUIS
