FIRST:I direct that the expenses of my last illness and funeral,including the cost of erecting a headstone at my grave,shall be paid from my estate as soon as may be convenient after my death. SECOND:I give my tangible personal property as follows: (A)I give to my niece,MARY LEE LINN WEST,if she survives me,my bronze pitcher,which is a family heirloom, and the diamond ring which I received from Aunt A~chie Scott. (B)I give to my niece,URANIA BELLE LINN,if she survives me,my Sheraton chest of drawers,and a cherry high- boy which are family heirlooms,the hutch cupboard I received from my sister FlorencE,and the gold watch which I received from my mother. (C)I give to my husband,HOWARD L.DECKER,if he survives me,my kitchen range,my washer,my dryer,any two of my beds which he may select,my Magnavox record-player and radio, my television set and my automobile,together witL any policies of insurance thereon. (D)I give the remaining items to my sisters, MARY H.LINN and FANNIE H.FARRAR,or which of thEm as survive me, in such shares as they may determine. THIRD:If my husband,HOWARD L.DECKER,survives me, I give to him an amount equal to one-half (1/2)of the value for Pennsylvania inheritance tax purposes of my net probate estate after payment of debts and expenses but before payment of any death taxes;there shall be credited against this amount,however, the value for such purposes of the property passing to my husband under Article SECO~D (C)above. FOURTH:All the residue of my estate I give in equal shares to my sisters,MARY H.LINN and FANNIE H.FARRAR,the share of each of them who predeceases me to go to her living child or children who survive me per stirpes or,if she has none,to be added equally to the share of the other. FIFTH:I appoint MELLON BANK,N.A.,Executor of this my Will,giving to my Executor,in addition to the authority con- ferred by law,the power to sell any or all of my property,real or personal,at public or private sale,at such ti~e and for such price and upon such terms and conditions as it may see fit,or in its discretion to ~etain the same for distribution in kind,and the power,but not the duty,to invest any cash without being limited to "legal"investments. No bond shall be required of any fiduciary hereunder in any jurisdiction. SIXTH:I appoint MELLON BANK,N.A.,guardian of the estate of any minor receiving any sums of money,real property or other intangible personal property free of trust by reason of my death,if such property is in excess of the ~mount which may be paid to the natura~guardian;and I authoriz~said guardian,in its sole discretion and without order of court,to retain such property in kind or to sell the same,giving good title to any real estate,to invest and reinvest without ~eing limited to "legal"investments and to use both income a::ld principal for the minor's welfare,comfortable support and education,including college expenses.
