I-ohn ontgomery Barber,being of sound mind,memory,and understanding,
realizing the brevity and uncertainty of life,do make nd publish this my
last ill and Testament,in manner and form as follows:-
First:-I give and bequeathe to my sister,Emma _my Barber,the use
and income from all that I may possess both real and personal,during her
life-time,and further direct that should the income from our combined
estates be not sufficient to keep her in the comfort that we have been a~
accustomed~o,that she shall use the principle as her needs may require,
and that she shall have the right to dispose of any part of my estate that
she may deem necessary.
Second:-I direct that at the death of my sister Emma lay Barber
that a suitable marker be erected at the graves of my two sisters,my
fathers and mothers,at Emmas and my own.
Third:-I direct that at the death of my sister ~a ay Barber,
that hateever may remain of my estate be divided equally bet een my
five nephews and nieces,Samuel Thvight Barber,James Smith Barber,_ora
Pasco,Samuel Pascp,and Paul Barber,share and share alike.
Fourth:-Idirect that Emma May Barber be appointed Executor of this
1 ill and direct that she shall serve without giving bond.
