WILL- I,Elizabeth H.Horne,of the City of Washington, Washington County,Pennsylvania,being of sound mind and memory, do hereby make this my last Will: 1.My just debts and funeral expenses shall be paid as soon as convenient and my executor shall erect a marker at my grave in the Monongahela Cemetery where I wish to be buried. 2.I devise and bequeath to my niece,Elizabeth Billie of Elizabeth,Pennsylvania,my ring containing one large diamond and to my niece,Georganna H.Muniz,I devise and bequeath my ring with the initials A.I.on the inside,which ring contains one small diamond,as well as my ring with seven small diamonds and my large ruby ring. 3.I devise and bequeath to my niece,Edna H.Young, one diamond pin. 4.I devise and bequeath to Ben Irwin1 s daughters my diamond necklace which shall be divided,the largest diamond going to Janie Irwin Powel,the next largest to Peggie Irwin,and the next largest to Bernie Dee Irwin,and the smallest to Mary Lou Irwin. 5.I devise and bequeath to Mrs.Bessie L.Rees my diamond ring with five diamonds. 6.I devise and bequeath to Jessie Miller Windle my diamond ring which Dr.Ryder gave to me. 7.I devise and bequeath to my brother,Howard F.Hess Three Thousand and No/100 ($3,000.00)Dollars and if he has predeceased me,I devise and bequeath this sum to his son, Howard Charles Hess. • I I ... 8.All the rest and residue of my estate,real and personal,I devise and bequeath to my husband,J.Norman Horne, for and during the term of his natural life and giving him the privilege and authority to use the income therefrom and also the principal of my estate in any manner and for any purpose he may deem advisable at his discretion and for his comfort and enjoYmen~. 9.At the death of my husband,J.Norman Horne,I direct that my estate shall be distributed as follows if it is still in existence: (a)My niece,Elizabeth Billick,shall have my hand-painted sugar and cream pitcher,seven hand-painted salad plates,my mayonnaise dish and ladle,twelve hand-painted salt dips,one long cut glass dish and my large hand-painted salad dish and twelve hand-painted bread and butter plates; (b)My niece,Edna H.Young,shall have ten hand- painted plates; (c)My niece,Helen H.Kunz,shall have my three piece hand-painted marmalade set consisting of plate,jar and lid,and one hand-painted bonbon basket and one set of hand- painted salt and peppers with roses painted thereon,and four hand-painted cups and saucers. 10.All the rest and residue of my estate I devise and bequeath to Howard F.Hess if he is living and if he is not living I devise and bequeath the rest and residue to his son, Howard Charles Hess.This bequest includes the remainder of the household goods and furnishings not heretofore disposed of. -2- #-. .'.. 11.I appoint my husband,J.Norman Horne,executor of this Will and if he is unable to serve in that capacity I appoint Edna H.Young,my niece,executrix of this Will and I direct that regardless of the jurisdiction in which the executor resides,the executor of my Will shall not be required to furnish bond.
